I was pre-grinding my beans when I bought them from the store, but now I grind them right before I make the morning coffee, and you can't beat the freshness. Put that coffee down, and make a new cup after you use this grinder and taste the difference. I've never gotten so many compliments on the richness of the coffee I make for my guests. I have to say, I think, the good taste is also in large part of my using an AeroPress, but I've been using that for years and now my coffee is that much better with freshly ground beans.

This replaces an old coffee bean grinder that was messy. Kitchen Aid products (I have that maker's dishwasher) have a reputation for quality and I was not disappointed. My coffee now is as tasty and full bodied as those in the specialized restaurant chain stores (e.g Starbucks & Dunkin' Donuts).
