We have had our washer since May and absolutely love it and all of the features that it comes with. This is our first front-loader and it's capacity is great, I wouldn't go back to a top load again after this, and I should also mention that we are able to extend our use of detergent for so long, we have only purchased soap twice since we have bought it almost 6 months ago... The only con we have is that we can't wash our dogs blankets which are too hairy and clog the drain in it... Plus the one time (and last time) we did this we felt scared we were going to ruin the machine, otherwise it's super durable for everything else and absolutely love the steam cycles!

I purchased this washer/dryer set about six weeks ago. We had previously had an older model of Duet washer/dryer (about 3 years old) and were happy with them, but moved to a new home and had to purchase a new set. The washer gets my clothes clean and I really like the 'fan fresh' option, which was a big part of the reason I went with this Whirlpool Duet set. The dryer gets clothes dry in one round and the cycles are shorter than our previous models. My one major complaint is that you CANNOT switch the door on the washing machine (you can on the dryer), which means that because of the way my laundry room is set up, I have the doors both opening to the left. Since my laundry room is a bit smaller/tight, it makes it more difficult to transfer the clothes from the washer to dryer, because the washer door is in the way. Had I realized/known this would be the case prior to purchasing, I likely would have gone with a different brand that does have a changeable washer door. I would advise that Whirlpool make this change going forward. I cannot understand why you would do it on the dryer, but not on the washer. Overall, I'd recommend for performance reasons, but I'd advise you make sure that your laundry room is set up to accommodate a washer door that opens to the left only. That was, and continues to be, very disappointing for me, which is why I gave it less than 5 stars.

Comments about Whirlpool Duet WED95HEXR Cranberry Electric Dryer:
5 days before Christmas our almost 30 year Maytag dryer motor froze. I was considering giving everyone a roll of quarters in their stockings for the laundromat, as who has time to shop for a major appliance now? I found this beautiful dryer online and sent my son on a 30 mile drive with a borrowed truck to check it out. When we opened the box, I was delighted with the quality & details, & for barely inches larger than my last dryer the capacity is amazing. Go Whirlpool!

Excellent dryer with many features - so many we don't use all of them. So far it seems to be one of the best after 5 months of ownership.
This dryers is awesome for someone who forgets to pay attention. The dryer continues to periodically cycle do clothes don't get that stagnant smell.
Should have purchased sooner

This is the first new appliance I have purchased. When my old dryer quit working, I knew Whirlpool was the brand I wanted and I decided to purchase a newer model. I looked into a used appliance but the price was not that different. This dryer has been simply amazing. It is so quiet you don't realize it is even running. Thanks Whirlpool
Confusing; too many buttons/dials;won't let you change time.

I've recently purchased this dryer and I absolutely LOVE it. So easy to use and dries full loads faster than my old dryer. I've already noticed a difference in my electric bill. Really energy efficient. The steam feature really saves me in the mornings when I'm trying to get ready for work. I don't have to lug out the ironing board to iron my clothes

Well made dryer
Great dryer with a nice selection of options. Having the matching washer with extra fast spin cycle, cuts down on the drying time,so the dryer doesn't run as long. Solid dryer that's made right here in the u.s.a.
