Like having a food-prep assistant at your service, this versatile food processor
can handle almost any kitchen task--from chopping, slicing, and dicing to mixing,
mincing, emulsifying, and more. It supplies three bowl sizes: a 12-cup work
bowl for large quantities, a 10-cup chef's bowl that fits inside the work bowl
(keeping the work bowl clean for the next task), and a 4-cup mini bowl (with
a stainless-steel mini blade) that fits inside the large work bowl for small
chopping and mixing jobs. Best of all, its work-bowl cover features three nesting
food pushers for variable feed-tube options, and its Ultra Wide Mouth feed tube
accommodates large items--like apples, zucchinis, cucumbers, and potatoes--with
minimum sectioning or slicing needed. The appliance also provides two removable
blades and four discs: a stainless-steel multi-purpose blade, a dough blade
for mixing and kneading yeast dough, a fine 2 mm slicing disc, a medium 4 mm
slicing disc, a medium 4 mm shredding disc, and a French-fry cutting disc. Additional
tools consists of an egg whip that can whip cream and egg whites for mousses
and meringues, and a citrus press, which consists of a strainer basket, a two-piece
cone, and a lever arm (use the removable outer cone for larger items like grapefruit
and the inner cone for lemons and limes). A user manual and a spatula/cleaning
tool are also included, as well as a chef's accessory case that keeps all the
blades, discs, and accessories protected and neatly contained. When finished,
the unit's on/off/pulse control pad and base can be wiped down with a damp cloth
and all removable parts clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher.
