Comments about Monster Digital Life PowerNet 300 With Clean Power:
I live with my fiancee and four other roomates, so imagine the stress on our wireless router.I mainly use this with our iMac and the connection is sure and through every time. I had a bit of trouble shooting to do as one of my roomies is currently using a PLC system (cisco). I found out that it will work in conjunction with other compatible PLC devices. Although, for best performance my two powernet 300/200 work seamlessly together.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for home use, but bad on audio

If using Nordost equipment this will induce noise on your system. Works exactly as advertised though and very easy to set up. Great for home network and gaming, not the best for a high end music streamer.

Have Home Theatre streaming movies hooked up through this device and media server connected. Everything works without skipping a beat. I was hoping for faster throughput on my PC but it wasn't there. The best I was able to get was 10Mbps which isn't bad.

I started out with two units to make sure they worked. Took them out of the box and plugged them in per the instructions and they worked great. We live in a 3000 sq ft home built inthe 1970s and I needed one to get the furthest room that doesn't get wireless well so I added a third unit. Plugged it in and it works great. Solid connection with AppleTV, WD Live and internet connected LG TV. The only issue I have is that the power cable neeed to be longer.

I bought two of these to connect the internet to a room on the opposite side of my house. I had been using Wi-Fi but the signal was weak and intermittent. Just plugged in the two units, connected the cables and told the computer where to find the connection. Now the remote location has fast, reliable internet access, and no new holes in the walls from running additional cables.
A name brand you can count on!

I bought the PowerNet 300 to use with a flat screen TV (internet ready), a PS3, and a lap top computer. All are in my family room that is one story down with and separated by several walls to the wireless high speed router attached to my main computer. Speed was greatly improved over the wireless connection with the introduction of this device. I especially like how it is so neat and compact and also includes several power outlets that are both surge protected and filtered. The power cord snaps in so it does not fall out, but I agree - Monster could have done a better job with the instructions alerting end users to push hard enough to hear that snap. All and all though it merits 5 stars just because it does what it does so well.

Was Perfect for Me

About Me Enthusiast
I needed something to use where I could connect multiple gadgets; my PS3, my DirecTV DVR, my dedicated Sony Blu-Ray player - all ethernet enabled, but no nearby network ports. So I replaced one of my Powernet 200 modules with the Powernet 300, and it allows me to hook them all up to the same line. Sure, it's sharing the bandwidth, but I don't use them all at the same time. It works like a charm, and is as easy to user and set up as the 200 was. Thanks again Monster Power, another great product!
