The on/off button is intermittent, sometimes the washer will start then I go back to get clothes out and find it never finished washing but just quit.

Now, the agitation cycle is getting even noisier. DO NOT buy this machine, get another brand!

Run! REun while you still have legs!!!!

This washer DOES NOT clean clothes. I foolishly bought it before I looked online and read any reviews. The washer leaves even the smallest of loads dirty. I have reduced my load size down to less than 10 pounds (2 pairs of jeans at a time) in order to get clean clothes. I hate this washer. It doesn't save any money or energy, in fact the opposite is true because you cannot wash a full load, you have to break it down to 3 or 4 smaller loads and then have to wash the smaller loads 2 or 3 times. I complained to GE and I have discovered that so many people have complained about this washer that GE has made an agitator for it and they are sending someone to my house to put in an agitator. If a company has to change the BASIC DESIGN of their washer and send repairmen to your house to add parts to their product in order to make it work, you KNOW you're in trouble. Do NOT buy this washer.

I bought this product to save energy and water. Problem clothes do not get washed well. Would not buy this product again. Waste of my hard earned money. Not a happy mom. Looking for a new washer.

listen to it before you buy

If I had been able to listen to this machine during the washing (agitation) phase, I would not have bought it. The rhythmic "whoop whoop" sound that it makes is tolerable only because I have the machine in a basement and I can get away from the sound. Seems to wash well, but i would have chosen something else.
