Never wrote a review, but this fridge earned it. I've had it for about a week, and so far so great.... I can't even hear it running. It replaced a built-in, counter-depth 19 year old Sub Zero, which couldn't compare with the Samsung, but it may be too early to tell. I noticed a few reviews mentioned a slow ice maker. Mine seems to keep up just fine. I'll write another review if things change.

The Refriderator in general is great. It has all the features you would want in a counter depth fridge. The big problem I had was with the ice maker. I bought my first one in November 08 and the ice maker broke in Feb 09. I was without an ice maker for 3 months while parts were being found. After no parts could be found, Samsung was gracious enough to replace the fridge since they couldn't get part in a timely manner. Got the new one a couple weeks ago and the ice making is very sluggish. I've already had to buy two bags of ice to supplement the ice maker. It is frustrating. If the ice maker problem was fixed, I would love the fridge.

Counter Depth upgrade
Love that I found this in a counter depth. It is very well thought out in design and although I gave up a little space in order to go to counter depth I really fill like I gained usable space. My wife hated the idea of going to a side by side. It felt like a dated idea but there is no way I could pry this fridge out of her kitchen now. While fingerprints on the fridge will always be a problem with stainless Samsung's version isn't awful. A quick wipe and we are good to go again.
Finally got my Samsung fridge!
Since my daughter remodeled her kitchen with all Samsung appliances, I've been so impressed with this company's products. I've been yearning for my own kitchen upgrades and just got one step closer with the purchase of this refrigerator! I love it-- and bonus points for being counter-depth which saves us about six inches in a very awkwardly-situated corner of the room.

We purchased this refrigerator as a part of a Samsung package, but we upgraded from the standard fridge that was included because we like a side-by-side better. It has all of the features we were looking for. We originally bought the full size, but it didn't fit! We had to go with the smaller counter depth, but for some reason it costs more.
Samsung has an excellent reputation for high quality appliances and this is no exception. From the aesthetics to the design and capability, this is a high quality product. It is definitely not the cheapest counter depth refrigerator, but I was sold when I saw extremely high marks in consumer reports for this model.
Beautiful Design, Good Features

Love the lighting and for a counter-depth there's quite a lot of storage. Only issue so far is it's started having a ticking noise - service has been called.

Love, Love Love, this refrigerator. It is very quiet. I had a larger 24.6 counter depth and this one is so much larger inside. Love the LED lighting and can't get over the stainless steel cleaning product that they gave me at install. I can say without a doubt, it is the best cleaner I have come across, and I have tried them all. I cleaned all my other appliances and they look like new, first time in 6 years. Thanks Samsung, you sold me on this one.
Nice, counter-depth fridge
Pros: I was looking for a counter-depth fridge that wouldn't break the bank. It is a very sleek model, that looks very updated. Our family loves the racks for bottles and cans, and the gallon sized bins on the fridge door. The interior is very well lit, which makes everything easy to see. The ice maker does make minor noise when it is filling, but other than that the fridge runs very quiet. Cons: The drawers do not pull out all the way, unless you are removing them for cleaning (which is a minor annoyance). And I didn't realize that the front of the fridge was not magnetic when I bought it. So, no artwork is getting posted without some tape. The front does tend to pick up those little fingerprints as well. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase. We have only had the fridge for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on longevity.
Looks good, breaks after 3 weeks of use
from New Jersey
The fridge looks good, it's not very spacious but it is counter depth fridge. For the quality it is severely overpriced. It broke after 3 weeks of use. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Good temperature control, kind of noisy
from Philadelphia, PA, USA
Refrigerator maintains temperatures very well. Digital display of temperatures is a nice feature. Seems well designed to maximize use of interior space. We moved down from 25 cuft to this 22 cuft and can hardly tell the difference. The food drawers only open 4 to 5 inches, hard to get bulky stuff into them. Ice maker is noisy when dropping ice into the bin - noisy enough that it is startling. Full or empty, doesn't matter. The water fill cycle is also noisy. The leveling legs aren't very well designed. Manual says to use a screwdriver to adjust them but the slots for the blade aren't deep enough to do this when there is weight on the legs. Channel locks work though.
