Delivery was prompt. Delivery men were very courteous, checked washer before leaving and careful when bringing down to the laundry room to be sure not to scratch walls or damage the washer.

The larger capacity than my "retired" 28 year old Maytag washer is appreciated, as are the more adjustable settings like the "cool" water, rather than "warm" or "cold," however, if you want to put something in after the cycle begins, the "lock" feature, which I understand was instituted to allow it to spin faster, is very annoying. I was used to just adding an item or two of wash very easily once the washer was on. Also, you cannot just do an extra rinse cycle or two, which feature I also constantly use before, you must do a full cycle each time. Also annoying.

Easy to use, not technical like new machine, quiet, great spin cycle and doesn't shake or move-- it's a strong machine for the money!!

I chose this washing machine because I wanted to be able to choose how much water was used with each load. It does a good job of cleaning my clothes. The noises it makes are very different than what I'm used to, but I'm ok with it now.

don't buy this machine I will never buy a maytag again. It was bad from the beginning didn't like it. Clothes never would spin out, were wet alot of the time, still in water when it was done. They weren't coming out clean. When it happened everytime called for repair machine was one year and three months old. Computer board broken inside and needs to be replaced and abt is doing this as a favor for 250 dollars. Maytag would do nothing but say they're sorry. Don't buy this machine, and think twice before buying Maytag!

I agree with Ellen's comments. It takes forever to wash a load - and I have to wash everything on the delicate cycle because the other cycles ruin my clothing (stretches everything out). Also, I have noticed that it doesn't clean clothes effectively. I wish I would have read Ellen's comments prior to buying my machine. (purchased it a week prior to when she posted her comments)

This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned. It takes more than an hour to wash a load of clothes. Washing clothes on the "Normal" cycle does not get the clothes clean. It has been ripping and tearing my towels to shreds. I have tried using different wash cycles and adding smaller loads, but every time I wash a load another towel, sock, or piece of clothing comes out ripped and torn. Maytag will not admit to any problem, however, I have been doing laundry for 40 years and I have owned several washing machines. This is the first washing machine I have owned that actually shreds my towels and clothing. Maytag will not do anything to replace the agitator or even admit that there is a problem with this machine.
