Its two stage sharpening system, features carbide sharpening stones and ceramic stones for correct sharpening angles every time. It will also sharpen serrated or scalloped edges. Plus it comes with a handy bar board!

            For a quick re-edging, it is ok. But I still get a far better edge and sharpened blade with stones. It also doesn't do all that well with nicks.

            I use it, but I can only rate it as fair
