Comments about KitchenAid Superba Series Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:
Very quiet, use the right soap and it works great. Nice features, controls can be a little to easy to press so sometimes if you brush up against them it'll turn on but not a big deal. Can't comment on long term use since only have had a few weeks. But so far so good.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Lots of room

Washes great. Lots of room for arranging dishes. Good feature for holding down delicate glasses. Front controls are a bit too sensitive to inadvertent touching and we run it with control lock on.
The sound level is amazingly quiet.

I am completely satisfied with my new kitchenaid dishwasher. My previous kitchenaid dishwasher lasted 22 years. I hope this one does as well.

Love this dishwater! Very quiet. Dishes come out spotless. (Place where I bought it offered 3 year warranty, so I purchased that also. Wonder now if I'll really to.)
I like the features, quietness and other features.
My 25 year old kitchen-aide dishwasher finally quit. That is the reason I purchased another one because of the service of the other one. I also like the looks and the adjustable rack as well as the pot scrubber. Very satisfied.

About Me Casual Cook
Kuds30cxss does not dry the dishes. There is a disclaimer in the use book saying that some plastic items don't dry because they are porus. The soap dispenser is made of plqastic and has not dried since using it 4 days ago. Initially did not drain adequatly. After call to tech, found a protion of the drain hose must be higher than the disposal port so it doesn't siphon back. The control lock must be turned on, or the dishwasher will turn on if you brush up asainst the controls. The door of the dishwasher must extend outside of the cabinet for proper venilation making installation more than 24 inches.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Avid Cook
Purchased in May '11 (KUDS30CXSS). Looks nice...does ok cleaning. However, its really easy to bump the controls and turn on/off. So, then you rely on the control lock, and thats a PITA. Seemingly, the washer stops running on its own sometimes. No clue. Now, after just 6 months of use, the little prongs that hold the wheels for the upper rack are broken. In looking for the replacement parts - no, I don't want to deal with KitchenAid's warranty non-sense - I find the part is $17-24...and some of the online web sites are backordered for this part. So, looks like Whirlpool/KitchenAid designed a part destined to break and the replacement parts are getting snatched up.So, based on the annoyances with the controls and parts, I give this a two star rating. Its that high because it does clean...but, really, don't buy this one.
