I know the product, therefore no surprises. I use this for club shots or dark environments where a bigger wattage on-camera would be intrusive. works great for what it is intended.

Haven't had a chance to use it much but I think it will definitely be better than shooting grainy low light video. It might wash out faces if you are too close. For the price it is worth trying.

A necessity for home videos. This light works well for relatively close indoor shots. Make sure you carry extra battery packs, as it uses the camcorder's battery.
