I am very happy with my new 5 burner double oven gas range. I waited a long time to purchase a double oven range and did a lot of research before choosing. The KitchenAid had the most features for the price. Since receiving my range, I've only found a few things I don't like. One is the design of the knobs. The panel where the knobs attach is angled. While it looks nice, it reduces the surface area of the stovetop. You can get 4 pots on there, but they had better not be large ones. I also had to purchase a new 2-burner grill pan because mine would not fit on the top of the range. The burners are bit too easy to turn on. If I lean over the range (not while it's on, of course) to get a pot from the cabinet above, I bump at least one of the knobs and a message begins rolling across the panel telling me to check to see if the burners are off. One other thing that might not apply to anyone else - I live in an area where the power goes out frequently. My previous gas range burners would still operate when lit with a match. Not so with the KitchenAid. No power, no gas. Those issues aside, the range works beautifully and looks just as good. The ovens bake evenly and having 2 ovens is a dream. I will never own a single oven again. The controls are easy to operate and the glass display is easy to clean. Overall, the whole unit is easy to clean for a gas range. I ordered it in white to match my other appliances. I imagine the stainless would be more difficult to clean. The extending rack in the lower oven really makes removing heavy pots easier. I worried it would be difficult as the lower oven really is quite low to the floor. I find that I use the upper oven most often since I'm usually cooking for one. But the lower oven bakes two large trays of cookies evenly with the convection turned on. I don't miss the storage drawer as much as I thought I would, and it was worth losing the drawer to gain another oven. All in all, there are a few small things I would change, but I wouldn't give up my KitchenAid range for anything. Would recommend.

I think the double oven feature is great. I love the Cobalt Blue interior. But not worth giving up 8 inches of cooking space on top.I have had nothing but problems with this range for these 4 months I have owned it. The first range that was delivered had a faulty lower over door, that didn't seal properly. That range was replaced, and now I have come to discover the hard way that the upper oven in my new range is off by 50 deg. Not good when you are trying to bake that perfect cake – Ok that can be fixed, but what really makes me unhappy with this range is that the cook top space is tiny and the proportion is HORRIBLE. The design of this range has the knobs on an angle that consume about 6 inches of cook top space, plus the grills also start on an angle, removing about another 2 inches, so the depth of your cook top area is reduced by about 8 inches. It is hard to have two pans going at the same time on the same side, one they don't fit, and if they do, one will be close to tipping over because the grills end on an angle. If I am able to miraculously find two pans that will fit on the same side they are not centrally placed over the flame, because the design of the angled grates don't allow that. It is hard to just get on pan placed centrally over the flame without your pan tipping over and possibly causing a bad accident. WHAT A HORRIBLE DESIGN.I am a busy mother of two, I don't spend all day in the kitchen, but when I do I want to have enough space to cook my pasta, my chicken breast, and sauce at the same time, but I can't, pans don't fit properly.I am so disappointed, I was much happier with my old GE.

I especially like the 5th burner snd the griddle.
Purchased this for my wife for Christmas 2014. Arrived in excellent shape. Installed it myself. It was quick and easy. The quality exceeded my expectations! Almost a year later, The wife is more than happy with it, So I am happy! Convection oven is great, small top oven is perfect for pies, pizza, etc. And fast. The top center burner is excellent for canning. Very pleased!

I've had this double oven / range for almost a year. Love the center burner / griddle. Great versatility with two ovens.

A bit dismayed that the gas hook up does not allow the oven to sit flush to wall. Frustrated trying to speak to customer service.

Good range but a couple of quirks

I LOVE having double ovens - the double ovens give this range 4 stars in spite of the design issues I have with it. Issues that could be improved: 1. The face where the knobs are is rounded and sloped. You have to watch pots on your front burners because if you aren't paying attention you can set a pot down or move it and have it tip toward you. (watch your kids!)2. The face where the knobs are gets very hot when the top oven is in use and because it's sloped you are more likely to touch it than if it was completely vertical. (watch your kids!) 3. The top oven is short (out of necessity) and you must be careful because the usual clearance space for your hand as you scoop under your item isn't there. It's very easy to burn yourself as you reach in or pull out.

I am happy with baking in this oven and cooking on the stove top. Have not as yet had time to use the griddle-I will soon.
