While I can understand that the other one star review was based on a faulty unit, we have been nothing but extremely happy with our stove. We love it so much, we wanted to take it to our new home but was unable to - and are now going to buy another one. It's well made, solid, and looks great. It's also very intuitive and easy to use. What we like most about it, besides the look is that it's a great unit to use for everyday use as well as entertaining. We typically use the small oven for our day to day uses since it's smaller and more efficient and then use the bigger unit when entertaining - turkey in the bigger oven and rolls and potatoes in the smaller oven. Cobalt blue interior of the oven does look sweet.Lots of options on the cook top and the one burner brings water to a boil quickly as stated. While I agree is doesn't have as much room on the cook top as other units, it's really not an issue to us.Overall, I like the looks, build and functionality of this unit for the size and price. Would recommend.

I think the double oven feature is great. I love the Cobalt Blue interior. But not worth giving up 8 inches of cooking space on top.I have had nothing but problems with this range for these 4 months I have owned it. The first range that was delivered had a faulty lower over door, that didn't seal properly. That range was replaced, and now I have come to discover the hard way that the upper oven in my new range is off by 50 deg. Not good when you are trying to bake that perfect cake – Ok that can be fixed, but what really makes me unhappy with this range is that the cook top space is tiny and the proportion is HORRIBLE. The design of this range has the knobs on an angle that consume about 6 inches of cook top space, plus the grills also start on an angle, removing about another 2 inches, so the depth of your cook top area is reduced by about 8 inches. It is hard to have two pans going at the same time on the same side, one they don't fit, and if they do, one will be close to tipping over because the grills end on an angle. If I am able to miraculously find two pans that will fit on the same side they are not centrally placed over the flame, because the design of the angled grates don't allow that. It is hard to just get on pan placed centrally over the flame without your pan tipping over and possibly causing a bad accident. WHAT A HORRIBLE DESIGN.I am a busy mother of two, I don't spend all day in the kitchen, but when I do I want to have enough space to cook my pasta, my chicken breast, and sauce at the same time, but I can't, pans don't fit properly.I am so disappointed, I was much happier with my old GE.

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Stainless Steel Gas Oven:
Replaced a Frigidaire could not be happier I use propane and the smaller top oven actually save on the consumption of gas much less time to heat to temp.

I love my new double range. It preheats so quickly, there are three racks (one on top, two on bottom).

Oven was installed a little over a month ago. We love the double oven feature and the ability to cook at different temps.

This beauty has renewed my enthusiasm for cooking. We love the fifth burner and the economy of energy when we use the small oven.
Simple use, accurate heat control. Numerous features.

Old electric oven broke so I used that as an excuse to buy the gas range that I always wanted. Two ovens means that I can cook two things at once, no more cooking the main course and then having to wait for the side dish(s) to cook. I cannot say enough good things about this.

Double Oven Range

We have had it replaced once already because oven never seem to get to the correct temp. Took forever to pre-heat. Self cleaning function did not clean. We are experiencing the same thing with the replacement and have been in contact with the retailer and they have contacted KitchenAid. Still waiting on resolution.
My first gas stove!

Other than RV ones. Really like the center burner where you can grill anything. The double ovens are the best, as I love to bake and to be able to have two things cooking at once is a time saver! Only draw back is when I reach into upper cupboards I've accidentally leaned against knobs and they've lite!

This was a gift for Christmas! And I could not be more happy. I love the double oven. It cooks so evenly and I now love cooking with gas. Absolutely love everything about it!!

I purchased this item because I was looking for a double oven, I have heard good things about the KitchenAid brand and because it matched the KitchenAid dishwasher that I purchased a year ago. What I never expected was such a poorly designed unit that has far less cooktop space than my lower-end Frigidaire stove. I must mention, that I really want to love this stove, however the first experience that I had with the stove was cooking a meal for Christmas Eve, and to my surprise I was unable to fit 3 tall 8qt stockpots on the burners at the same time. The oven knobs are angled up, which takes room away from the front, and the control panel sticks out in the back, which takes away from the back. My advice to anyone who cooks for large gatherings is to measure your current stove and compare it to this one prior to purchasing. I must mention that I am also disappointed in the design of the back of the stove, there is one specific place that your gas line must be located in order for the stove to push flush up against the back wall. Mine however is not located there and the stove sits out about an inch and a half from the wall. I must mention that my old stove was designed to accommodate a gas line at any point along the back of the stove. These are two things I never even thought to consider before purchasing, live and learn I guess.
