We are in the midst of a complete gut and re-do of our tiny 110 Sq.Ft. residential kitchen, and as life-long foodie and a current Culinary Arts Student (back in school at 45 years old is scary) I have some pretty stringent requirements.I want it done once and done right. I don't mind spending a few more dollars up front, to not have any regrets later. Every inch of floor-space, and counter-space is precious and our architect and I fretted over every detail. After exhausting research, and pawing over floor models for literally weeks, there was really only one unit that I knew I would be satisfied with. Our new fridge showed up two weeks earlier than expected, so I did a mad-dash to completely empty our jam-packed old fridge. When the installers left we re-packed it all into the KFCP22EXMP,and there was plenty of room to spare. The interior is so well laid out, and we absolutely love the large pull out deli drawer.Seriously, there is almost too much room, because I see all this empty space and feel the compulsion to go shopping and fill it up.The interior lighting is phenomenal, there is not a dim corner anywhere. It is taking some time to get used to opening the door to get water, and the freezer for ice, but for the added interior space normally sacrificed for this convenience, I'll happily adjust to the change.I am very happy with my decision and have no serious regrets. The inconveniences I have found so far:1) The divider in the lower freezer bin. I would really love to be able to adjust it side-to-side, or remove it completely.2) The water dispenser always leaks 3 or 4 drops of water after the flow is stopped. If you remove your cup too quickly these drips fall directly on the face of the deli-drawer.3) The sound of the water filling the ice-maker is surprisingly loud.

Was so excited to find this fridge, which matches my pro line range. Unfortunately the left French door has a flap that constantly gets stuck so the door does not close all the way. So the door alarm dings because the door is not closed. This is especially a problem when my 6 year old gets something out of the fridge, and the door is just left open due to the flap issue. Also, the flap will open out, so that when you try to close the fridge it hits the right French door and makes a loud banging sound.Basically you have to close the left French door first, then the right. This is an issue when you just want something out of the right side. You can't just open & close the right door. You have to open & close both doorsHad a GE French door refrigerator for the past 5 years, that did not have this problem. Please re-design the flap on the left French door.

Not one load has come out of this dryer unwrinkled !
from Pasadena, CA
I have tried every time and temp variation on the dials since we bought it. No only does it wrinkle my permapress blouses and khakis, it also leaves my husband's jeans and Ben Davis heavy duty work shirts all crinkled up. We (and Consumer Reports) have always liked Whirlpool, but I have never been so unhappy with an appliance. Our old Whirlpool dryer gave us great service for at least twenty years. Too bad this one lacks the same quality. In spades. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
So much like the 22 yr old Whirlpool dryer that I replaced.
from Canton, Illinois
I bought this model on my 70th birthday, replacing my 22 yr old Whirlpool dryer. Happy Birthday to me.. It has all the features that my old one had. It's very simple to operate, no unnecessary bells & whistles. Has every thing I need, I'm impressed with the lighted drum & the clothing dries so much faster than my old one. I had to check three different businesses until I found this model. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my new house they delivered it on a frigid day we hooked it up and felt the heat immediatly. Very happy with the fetched items like wrinkle guard. I also like that it has a light inside for the one sock you always lose.

I bought this a month ago and it is perfect for me. Simple to operate, efficient and energy efficient and at a very competitive price.
