We are in the midst of a complete gut and re-do of our tiny 110 Sq.Ft. residential kitchen, and as life-long foodie and a current Culinary Arts Student (back in school at 45 years old is scary) I have some pretty stringent requirements.I want it done once and done right. I don't mind spending a few more dollars up front, to not have any regrets later. Every inch of floor-space, and counter-space is precious and our architect and I fretted over every detail. After exhausting research, and pawing over floor models for literally weeks, there was really only one unit that I knew I would be satisfied with. Our new fridge showed up two weeks earlier than expected, so I did a mad-dash to completely empty our jam-packed old fridge. When the installers left we re-packed it all into the KFCP22EXMP,and there was plenty of room to spare. The interior is so well laid out, and we absolutely love the large pull out deli drawer.Seriously, there is almost too much room, because I see all this empty space and feel the compulsion to go shopping and fill it up.The interior lighting is phenomenal, there is not a dim corner anywhere. It is taking some time to get used to opening the door to get water, and the freezer for ice, but for the added interior space normally sacrificed for this convenience, I'll happily adjust to the change.I am very happy with my decision and have no serious regrets. The inconveniences I have found so far:1) The divider in the lower freezer bin. I would really love to be able to adjust it side-to-side, or remove it completely.2) The water dispenser always leaks 3 or 4 drops of water after the flow is stopped. If you remove your cup too quickly these drips fall directly on the face of the deli-drawer.3) The sound of the water filling the ice-maker is surprisingly loud.

Was so excited to find this fridge, which matches my pro line range. Unfortunately the left French door has a flap that constantly gets stuck so the door does not close all the way. So the door alarm dings because the door is not closed. This is especially a problem when my 6 year old gets something out of the fridge, and the door is just left open due to the flap issue. Also, the flap will open out, so that when you try to close the fridge it hits the right French door and makes a loud banging sound.Basically you have to close the left French door first, then the right. This is an issue when you just want something out of the right side. You can't just open & close the right door. You have to open & close both doorsHad a GE French door refrigerator for the past 5 years, that did not have this problem. Please re-design the flap on the left French door.

Comments about KitchenAid Pro Line Series Counter Depth Stainless Steel Bottom Freezer Refrigerator:
I wanted just a simple dryer with as few electronics as possible... less to go wrong that way. This dryer is perfect! Dries quickly and efficently, relatively quiet and has the wrinkle guard feature. That's all I need. Yes, you can pay a LOT more for a fancy dryer with digital displays, steam drying (I just throw a damp towel in if I need to steam something a bit more) or the smart-dryer features some now have. BUT, this does the job well and suits our needs perfectly. Sometimes simply sticking with the basics is the best route in my book.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very Happy with our Whirlpool Dryer
By Karen P.
from Toledo, Ohio
We have had the dryer for a month now and we are very happy with the Whirlpool dryer. It has some nice features, the sensor seems to work the way it was meant to. It has settings from no-heat to high heat, plus timed or sensor drying. The vent hook-up was perfect for us. Our laundry is located in the basement and the vent hookup actually turned a bit to easily accommodate the upper vent space going to the outside. I would definitely consider other Whirlpool appliances.

Looks built in, has the features we need

Fits perfectly in opening to give that built in look. Makes plenty of ice. I aso like the water dispenser built into the side of the of the liner. It saves lots of space.
Good Machine at a decent price

Our old dryer died about a month ago and it is great to have a new one. This dryer works well- although like most with sensor dry it leaves the clothes a little bit damp but that isn't a huge deal. So far I am extremely happy with the dryer and it seems like a good buy for the price. We do a lot of laundry because of a toddler in the house.

nothing but wasted money

over a year of wasted food, leaks and repair. I will end up disposing of this unit and trying another brand - a very expensive mistake

prepared for the reality of the future

I purchased this gas dryer to replace a whirlpool that had been hard at work for 23 years! So, I expect this one to be working as hard or harder for the next 20+ years. I am still in love with the knob operator, so chose this over the push button operated models. Like the feature that keeps the clothes tidy every 45 minutes, and the option to on or off alarm when the cycle is completed.Wish this and new models still keep the side-way opening door, rather than the swing-down door. Future design should allow operation in tighter space as property becomes more expensive and less space homeowner could afford. it will also be nice to have 2 chambers in one unit to dry 2 different types of clothing simultaneously! Thanks.

We've had the dryer a month now and it does exactly what was expected. It's not a fancy model, but it's a dryer for crying out loud. The settings are easy to understand and use and everything is dry when it's supposed to be. The large capacity is great and the interior light is a nice touch. If your interested in a basic dryer that does a great job, this one may be for you.
