I bought my stove 2 and a half months ago. We didn't buy top of the line for stove since we bought more expensive other appliances when we bought our home. The stove is a little small bit works fine. The burners work great. It doesn't have a lot of the fancy buttons but works fine. A nice stove for our first home.

I have never owned or had a oven that was not enclosed so the heat could stay inside the oven and be energy efficient. That was until now. Bought this Range/Oven as a replacement on the spur of the moment and saw something I have never seen before. The Left rear burner, right in the center has about a 1 1/4" opening that goes right down to the oven. It's an open pipe that lets the heat flow right out of the oven and into the kitchen when in use. It states in the manual that this is for better baking as air flow moves more, but it's letting the heat out of the oven. You may as well have the door cracked. I'll never understand why a oven has a way for the heat to leave and enter the room while baking. This may be great on cold wintery months, but as far as these 90 degree days, why would I want more heat to enter my apartment when cooking. It states not to plug this hole. but if Frigidaire has a plug available, I'd like to have one. I'll always check from now on for open holes in a range going down to the oven. I just never thought that I would never see a model like this in the stores. Especially with everyone looking for ways to cut down on power consumption. This hole has to make the oven elements kick in more to make up for the lost heat leaving through the burner hole. I'm a electrician and have been doing wiring for the last 36 years, wired many things in that time, and have never seen a range like this one. Everyone I have talked to said they would not want one when I explained about the heat loss through the venting burner hole. The thing of it is, you would not even notice the hole until you get it home and turn on the oven light and see it shining through the left rear burner. I kept the range, but will never use the oven.

EASY TO CLEAN
from Forney, TX, United States
I FIND THAT MY COOKTOP IS EASY TO CLEAN. IT'S BEST TO CLEAN SPILLS IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE IT WIPES OFF EASILY. I'VE BEEN USING MY COOK TOP SINCE AUG 2017 AND IT STILL LOOKS NEW

Cooktop performs as expected. Very efficient. Burner knob location markings could have more contrast for easier visibility.
Good Basic product

This was purchased to have a basic stove in the house. It has met our expectations. The burner covers are a bit on the cheaper side as well as the shelves in the oven as the slots are spaced a large distance apart.
Replaced my old one with this -- cooks very quickl

My previous stove of the same model (probably about 12 years old) blew a fuse or something in the oven--humming electrical noise then bright flash of light. Don't know if it was just the equipment, or that I never cleaned the oven. Anyway, I decided to stick with the same basic stove because I like the burners and didn't want a glass top because those things look awful once you drop something on the glass. And I didn't want a self-cleaning oven because I'm afraid the super high temperature would damage my laminate cabinets and the smell would kill my cat (maybe). Have to say that this new one fires up like crazy -- food cooks so much faster! Freaky fast. Was so inspired that on delivery day I actually bought a chicken roaster with a lid too -- now my oven stays clean!

The stove surprised me because it heats up very quick and cleans easy

This stove was in a new construction house I bought in April. Immediately after using the silver drip trays turned black and then the front left burner fell apart. I have never ever had this happen to any of the stoves I have owned and I have owned plenty.
