Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series II Stainless Steel Undercounter Refrigerator:
This is a high quality under the counter frig that goes beyond the features of a wine cooler in the sense that their is greater temperature range. it has a sleek appearance and has been working well. I had an issue with the cabinetry and needed to lower the height a quarter of an inch but that was not possible so the dimensions are firm. a bit pricey but I would recommend this product
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice unit, so far no real issues.

Purchased as part of our recent kitchen remodel and it's been running now for about a month. We are primarily beer/cocktail drinkers so we needed a unit that would provide true "refrigerator" temps as opposed to the many "beverage centers" on the market that are primarily designed to cool to only about 40-44 degrees for wine.I really like the look of this unit. Clean lines. This doesn't have digital temperature setting. Has the standard "dial" with cold to coldest labels. I have it set to about 70% of the dial range and although I don't have an actual thermometer in there, the beers are perfect for me -- a nice "crisp" temperature that bites your tongue. I really enjoy that after using the push mower for an hour or so to cut the grass on a hot and steamy July afternoon.Only issue that I have, which I don't seem to notice as much now, is that when the unit was running, a "base" noise was being transmitted via the cabinetry/studs to the area around where the unit is installed. So, that could be an issue for someone who would install in a Home Theater. Also, when first installed in the cabinet (prior to granite countertop being added), it would shift to the right when the door was opened. The feet are hard plastic and they were slipping on the hardwood flooring. Since we hadn't installed the countertop yet, we solved this by adding small strips of wood to the inside of the cabinet on both sides of the unit to "hold" it in place to prevent this shifting/slipping. Hopefully this won't translate into an issue if we ever have to remove the unit for servicing, etc.Overall, I'm happy so far. It would be nice if it had LED lighting and/or an option to have the light "on" when the door is closed, but I knew that in advance. Refrigerators of this size are not cheap from any manufacturer and this was one of the lowest prices I found in this category. I also considered an Electrolux unit, but didn't like their repair history on Consumer Reports.
Drinks are accessible and cold

Love this refrigerator. Drinks are always cold and it's easy to see what your beverage choices are. Wine bottles and beverage bottles and cans there is plenty of room. Very attractive.
Overall a great product.

We entertain often, and this fridge sees a lot of use. We have been very happy with the volume of beverages that this appliance holds.
