Easily connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to the component video inputs on a TV. The cable also features audio and USB connectors.

Connect an iPod, iPhone or iPad to your television with the Apple Component AV Cable, gather your friends and watch videos or slideshows together on the big screen. You can also connect the Component AV Cable to your stereo or powered speakers for a room-filling audio experience.

The Component AV Cable connects to your device or Universal Dock via the 30-pin dock connector and to your TV, home theater receiver, or stereo receiver via the component (Y, Pb, and Pr) video and red/white analog audio ports. The cable also features a USB connector that you can plug into a power source, such as a computer or the USB Power Adapter, available separately.

I use the av cord to share photos on our big screen tv and especially like using it to watch movies thru my iPhone. It's a great product the only negative would be that the component plugs go on a bit hard because they are so tight. After some use perhaps they'll get a little more easier to connect. I had purchased an inferior brand of av cord before this one and it was junk, so glad I bought this genuine apple product thru Abt!

Great Product, But if you plan to use it to watch movies on your HDTV; Forget it. Poor resolution on HDTV. Great for watching the news or Documentaries.
