I purchased the unit for installation in a cabinet because of it's size and design. The reviewing websites also influenced my decision.

Although the uniformity is poor, I can say that the video quality is pretty good and the tv has a certain wow factor because of it's minimalist design.

The speakers installed do not compliment the television. That said, Samsung should not include speakers. They should offer a gift card towards the purchase of a sound bar or other external speaker system. I ended up purchasing the Bose Cinemate GSII 2.1 Speaker System. Despite the Bose system shortcommings, I am impressed with the sound while watching tv.

The QWERTY remote control is unique but is poorly designed. It does not have a backlight on the QWERTY side(Needed) and web navigation is difficult. The operation is also strange as it requires you to press the "Enter" key before you can enter text.

Custom integration is limited as the TV has no IP or Serial(rs232) interface and the QWERTY keyboard control is bluetooth. It would have been better if the unit were full IP conrol compatible for control over wireless internet. IR control would have been better with an IR control input port on rear of TV and including IR codes for the QWERTY keyborard functions.

In closing, this is my first Samsung TV and I selected this model because of positive reviews and size. The picture and form factor will get your attention! Do not even think of not getting a sound bar or other external speaker system.

The Allshare media sharing application is also quirky in operation sharing with Windows 7 Pc

Hangs on my wall like a piece of artwork.This is one purchase I cannot imagine anyone experiencing buyer's remorse.It looks beautiful turned off as well as on.I had read a few negative reviews before making my decision to invest so much in a tv.I decided Abt Electronics would be the place I felt most comfortable,if there was a problem with
this product. The tv was delivered promptly. I hung it with samsung slim wall mount, in under an hour. Setup including wireless internet connection was without a hitch. The only problem
I have regarding this tv is, I do not understand what anyone could find wrong with it.No regrets.

I had the TVounted on the wall in my home office. It is very bright in the morning but I haven't had any problem with glare. I'm going to buy the 60" model to mount over my fireplace in my rec room

You have to love this TV. We did not buy this for the 3D, but after watching it I'm sold on it. Even converts regualar programs to 3D (not quite as good as made for 3D media). Outstanding picture quality. The best part - even my wife likes it!

Just simply the best 2D/3D TV on the market. Exceptional picture quality, and the most complete package of technical "bells and whistles" available in one television. Nothing compares at the moment!

I had trouble keeping it connected to my network because it can't connect through a Dynamic IP, and it took some real detective work to find that out. Samung blamed my modem manufacturer, who blamed my service provider, who blamed Samsung etc. Not a major issue just frustrating.
