although the idea of this product is great, the overall design unfortunately is not. I had given this product two tries, why? Because Monster has always had quality products.

The first one I had purchased shorted out my iphone ear jack. The connector is too bulky and too close to the listening device and when put into my pocket it pushed against the ear jack and damaged it.

The second time I tried it, I encountered the same issue with a short, but this time it was somewhere in the cable.

I live in NYC and I carry my iphone in my pocket.
I like having the controls close to me, but I can't keep replacing this product. I just want something I can rely on.

Great product!
I use it with my iPhone 4 along with my Bose triport oe. So I can listen to great quality music and not have to switch headphones when a call comes in. Only thing missing is volume control and the headphone jack is a bit bulky. The cable management works fairly well but should be a bit longer.

It's a great alternative to replacing headsets everytime the headphones go out. Especially after my dog chewed my iPhone headphones. Hope this helps :)

Bought it 1 year and 5 months ago, worked great until yesterday. The plug/jack that plugs into the phone is somewhat flimsy and any little jarring or bumps can render it useless. Don't get me wrong, it works great but the plug must be handled carefully. I also wish the cable was at least 1 foot longer.

If you have an auxiliary jack in your car. Use an auxiliary cable along with it and it works as a very good car kit and you can hear callers on your car speakers. The microphone can be easily clipped on to your shirt or seat belt. Hanging wires don't look cool, but voice clarity with iphone is way better than using bluetooth car kits.

I have purchased two of these, and both have broken--the most recent one within 9 months of occasional use. It's a clever device, that works well as a "ghetto bluetooth" in my car with a tape adapter, but what's the point if it's going to keep breaking?

I bought this as a replacement for blue tooth headsets that are overpriced and do not work properly. I have used these for over a year and have never had a problem. A huge advantage is that I can select which head phones work and fit me best and plug them in. My customers always tell me that my phone is very clear. I would encourage everyone to try this unit. It is simply the best!

I originally purchased this for my iPod Touch, later I found it can be used on my new Macbook. simply plug it into the headphone jack. It works great, the built-in button is so convenient. it can pause the music, Jump to the next song, or mute the voice talk. I love this mic/adapter. It is truly a useful product for Macbook and iPod Touch.

The iSoniTalk works as advertised, but the clip breaks as soon as any force is put on it. The plug can also not take much force, and quickly makes the headphones lose sound at 1 side.

If this product was made from more durable materials, and is able to take some every day use-abuse, then it would be a winner. In its current form it is rather flimsy.
