The Nexus Wireless Monitor: Advanced provides remote monitoring capability for convenient indoor observation. By adding this item a generator owner cna observe generator function, set certain operation parameters and receive maintenance reminders. The kit includes the wireless transmitter, wire harness connection, remote monitor display unit, desk mount/wall mount cradle, 120 V AC plug and 3 AAA batteries. The addition of battery back up ensures lasting operation.

The unit was easy to install. The display unit is durable, excellent wireless quality. It makes it easy to check on generator status. Log shows exercise runs to know it started and ran. Also provides generator battery status. It is expensive but it works well and very useful. It would be nice to have a wireless bridge with built in server to allow the same functions using a web browser.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Generac Advanced Nexus Wireless Remote:

    It installed very easy even though the directions are more confusing than they need to be. Once I had it working, I could change settings and test the Generator from the Lazyboy. The only thing I wish it did in the graph mode was have a longer graph history rather than the last 20 seconds.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
