After poor quality with my old washer and even more issues then having it die on me I was on edge about buying a new washer. I had the best service guy who offered me some advice. So, off I went to purchase a new washer. The brand brought me to this washer and with the overall look and size I was hooked. I then was excited to learn the features would exceed my expectations. The machine is great. Thank you Whirlpool!!!!

We read some very scarey reviews before choosing the set three months ago. We followed the consumer reports recommendation and we are glad we did. We love it. The only problems are with rugs and large comforters. It washess them but the larger version would have been better for these items. Being able to look inside through the glass top of the bigger version would have been nice but we really didn't need that size. It saves water and energy too.The matching dryer handles anything we can wash. .

Have really enjoyed the quick wash and additional washing cycled never afforded me with previously owned washing machines. Most economical machine as well which is greatly appreciated with the high water costs in my area!

In buying this product the salesperson told me that it had a "different sound" to it. Had I understood that meant a very loud, grinding and distracting sound, I likely would not have purchased it. Truely, we can't run it in the evening if we'd like to go to bed--it's far too noisy. Both the machine mechanisims and the signal on soft are very loud. We have it in our winter home, and were heading back North or I likely would have returned it. It does a good job on cleaning our clothes, although the high spin setting wrinkles things badly. The need to turn the power off in order to unlock the lid to add clothes is a pain though. It looks good, has great features (except for the lid lock) and does a fine job on cleaning our laundry. Good in every way except that the cycles are very loud. I do like the sound when it is done so I know when to get clothes out.

I have only had the washer about a month so do not know how well it will hold up, but I am very pleased with performance so far.
