won't read any disk and Freezes when you try to push any button on the remote or device. Also, the remote hardly ever worked, the IR sensors are weak. Bad buy, should have listened to the reviews...

Don't stop a Netflix show in progress. That will turn your bd player into a paperweight for about 12 hours. It's like hooking it up for the first time all over again. Many times it must be removed from power just to get it to shut off. Then the router has to be found all over again.

I bought this Blu Ray Player when I bought my new Toshiba HD tv. It took several weeks and many calls to tech support to get the wifi connected. Took even longer to connect to Netflix. After using only minimally, it won't even turn on. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk!

save your money... had to return the first blu-ray only had it for less than 30 days...they sent a new blu-ray that one is also acting up..... don't buy

This is my replacement player under warranty from a different Model. This model lack basic features like any digital Audio so the sound is horrible. There is no way to hook it up to a sound sound amp.

Very pleased with this unit. Nice and compact, easy set-up. Found the wireless network easily. First thing it did was update itself. Much better than the down-load-burn-a-disc-install routine that I have to go through with my other blu-ray from another maker. A back-lit remote, and some controls on the unit itself would be nice. (That's why only 4 stars in the features.) The price was about half of what I expected when I first started looking.

Well the next time I tried to get something from Netflix, it couldn't manage it even though the network settings looked ok and it said it was connected. Tried again this AM and same result. Enough, it's going back!

Hooked it up with a hardwire connection to the router to avoid wireless issues. Said it was connected to some obscure address but couldn't find DNS server. The next morning it managed to find the router and asked to do a firmware upgrade. After the new firmware was installed we're back to the same problem. I tried giving it a static IP, DNS etc. but it couldn't manage that either. Maybe by tomorrow it will find the router. I've connected lots of devices and they will almost always work with a static IP. Pretty disapointing! Toshiba needs to work this out as a new model like this should at least connect to the internet with no problems.
