Good product, could be better
from Sun City, AZ
Comments about Whirlpool 7.0 Cu Ft White Electric Dryer:
Slider power controls do not go beyond level 8 without several tries. Timer would be better if it would shut off, instead of just blinking, and beeping. Beep not loud enough or persistent enough to hear in other room. Functionality great otherwise. Would sincerely just like to see a good product made better!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Poor layout of burners, beeping alarm is annoying.
from Parker, Co
It is unfortunate the large burners are in the back. When boiling a large pot, all the steam covers the micro hood, and lifting heavy pots from the back burners is awkward. While sautéing food, lifting the pan to toss ingredients sets off the alarm to alert you to set the pan back down. I would like to be able to turn off the beeping noise.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Great unit but it requires learning to cook all over again.
New pots and new technology make cooking a whole new game. As time goes by I'm sure the wrinkles will be worked out.

Product is Unreliable
I purchased this cooktop a week ago. It has been majorly disappointing. After about three uses an error code, F47 popped up. A repairman came out, and couldn't fix it. We are now waiting on parts. Parts to fix a new stove!!!!!! We've been eating out, because, our brand new expensive stove DOES NOT WORK!! Avoid this appliance. The technology in theory is great, but in function it is a colossal failure. You WILL regret this purchase! Consider yourself warned!

When buying an induction cooktop, know what you’re getting yourself into. Special cookware is required. If a magnet will not stick to your current pots and pans, you must buy new ones. Once you have all the right gear, it’s well worth the cost. It cooks fast and evenly with lots of control over the temperature. You can have a boiling pot of water (which doesn’t take long) and the surrounding surface will be barely warm. For me, it’s the happy medium between a microwave and conventional cooktop.

An old stand-by, but cheap cheap finishe

About Me Frequent User
I purchased this to replace a 18 year old model that was almost identical. Basic machine, few moving parts to go bad. BUT the markings for the dials, and the blue finish on the control panel are so cheap -- when I pulled off the protective tape, as instructed, the markings came off too. You can scratch them off with your fingernail - there's no heat- or chemical hardening to the paint at all. I recommend you place clear packing tape over any labels you want to preserve, or they'll be illegible within a few months. VERY disappointing for the price.
