Comments about Panasonic Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System:
This is the second phone that I have gotten from Panasonic and I LOVE IT. I have tried all the other phone types like this and have had nothing but problems. Thanks to Panasonic I no longer experience tech or sevice problems. HIGHLEY RECOMMENDED.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Good phone, but poor sound quality, only 24 digits
from Framingham, MA, USA
Though the incoming sound quality is quite good, and better than Panasonic phones from a few years ago, the outgoing sound quality, which most reviewers fail to check, is quite bad, sounding like a 3G cell phone. The directory can only store up to 24 digits per number, so this phone cannot conveniently be used to check credit card balances, or to make international calls using discount calling cards.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very Good Phone with Great Battery Life
from Syracuse, NY
We purchased this phone set when the model was first released and have been very satisfied with the phone. (The only reason I gave 4 stars for value was the price has since come down.) The overall quality of this phone is excellent. Great sound from the earpiece and speakers. Battery life (talk time) on a full charge is about 10 hours for us. Batteries will hold a charge for about 3 weeks. (Obviously battery performance will degrade as the batteries are used.) We love the fact that the batteries take the form of rechargeable AAA's rather than the proprietary battery of our previous phone. The integrated phone book / directory is very nice - set up on any handset and all the handsets have access to the phone book. The con is the phone book is limited to 50 numbers I believe, but there is 2 phone books for a total of 100 numbers. We also like the choices of ringtones and the ability to have each handset have an individual ringtone. The ability to name each handset is also nice. Setup and for most features of the phone is accessed through menus on the screen. Not too hard for people savvy with technology but I did have to set up the phone for my mother. (We bought her the identical phone set so she could call us if she had a question about the phone.) The ability to hear messages and manage messages from any handset is very convenient. Space is limited to 15 minutes or so of saved messages. Another great feature is the ability to hear a message as it is being saved from any handset; each handset can turn off this feature if desired. Overall we are very happy with this phone. Recommended.

Waste of time
It doesn't work with my Droid and gives no indication of the problem. A waste of three hours.
