I found very few options for stackable washer/dryers that would fit my small closet space in my kitchen. In fact, this was pretty much the only option that fit the bill (gas, etc.)and it was one of the most epxensive. I was bothered by the lack of more affordable options, but I really do love this unit. I did have to remove my closet door to accomodate it, but it was the most shallow option. It works great and has a much larger capacity than I was used to. So, a word of advice: make sure you have all of your measurements and for the depth you'll need to add on another 4 to 4.5" to accomodate the hose.

As always, the ABT delivery team was professional and accomodating. I have never had a bad experience - even when I needed to switch out my unit for a more shallow one.
Customer service is always the best. I never consider going anywhere else as I've been so happy with ABT>

My unit was delivered with a cracked/broken dryer knob and the dryer did not heat properly. ABT replaced the unit immediately but the second replacement unit also had a broken dryer knob. ABT sent a new knob and the unit is working well now but I am holding my breath. ABT was great...this stackable unit, not so much. Hey GE, fix the knobs!

I can realy tell you that this is the perfect combo for the second floor of your house. we eliminated a small closet and we installed the washer and dryer on the second floor of our house. I can sleep I can watch movies, I can wisper to my wife with no problem. The top load washer is perfect, no noise when spining, no noise when washing. It realy is the perfect choice. Is big enought for 2 adults and two kids. The programs are perfect. The dryer is the best too. I would recomand this combo to everybody!

This machine replaced a similar machine but by Maytag that had lasted for close to 10 years. This unit is noisier, pulsates during certain cycles, and the knob for the dryer broke on the first use. I would not recommend this unit.

Seemed to be the largest washer size (depth) among the stackable options. Well-made product, easy to use with just enough features. Needs a buzzer to remind you when a load is done, but that's a minor issue.

If space is an issue, this is a great option. Can still wash/dry very large loads (towels, etc) and up to a queen size comforter easily.

Service and delivery comments:

On the phone and on-line customer support was fantastic. Delivery was prompt and within the time window that was discussed (they twice during the day with updates).

Had a bit of an issue getting the washer/dryer downstairs though a very tight area, but that's not the delivery guys fault. There was 1/2 an inch on either side and they tried their best, still got a minor scratch or two on the wall. I only note this to advise that you measure not only the space where it will go but how it will be moved in.
