Seemed to be the largest washer size (depth) among the stackable options. Well-made product, easy to use with just enough features. Needs a buzzer to remind you when a load is done, but that's a minor issue. If space is an issue, this is a great option. Can still wash/dry very large loads (towels, etc) and up to a queen size comforter easily.

We purchased this unit in early 2012 to replace a previous similar GE unit that happily lasted 12 years. Do not buy this unit (as of 2012). This unit is apparently a relatively new design/redesign as of 2012 and it was badly done. Considering there two obvious flaws in the first couple months I am very concerned about "what's next".The initial flaw (which ABT dealt with well) is the knob immediately broke. Several other people had experienced this (as noted in other reviews) and ABT was aware of the problem and resolved it quickly by getting a replacement knob and later a correctly designed knob to us.The fatal flaw of the unit is the dryer destroys clothes with "small stuff on it". Small buttons, spaghetti straps, draw strings with knots, and similar items catch in the gap inside the dryer door between the spinning tub and the door (in my opinion). This is a theory I seen in other reviews on different sites. I have also seen it proposed the lent trap catches them. I am not sure which is correct, but the end result is the caught item is at best severely abused (twisted round-and-round) and worst case torn. The ABT service man that came out when we reported the problem was unhelpful (which I find uncharacteristic for ABT) leaving my fiance with the suggestion to not to dry things. To be fair, we have not followed up with ABT again on this issue (though we will be).I subsequent search of the internet found other people having the same problem with the dryer. The proposed solution was to use shims to give the unit a slight backward tilt so the clothes are not pushing against the front of the unit when drying and thus less likely to be caught. I have tried this with no improvement.

I purchased this item a few months back and absolutely love it and would recommend it to everyone! I love the fact it has a regular size washer tub and dryer. We are a family of four and it works perfectly for us.

Perfect for what I needed it for. It's quite compared to my old washer I have had no problems so far.
I LOVE MY LAUNDRY CENTER.

My husband wanted to do away with the pedestals under my front loading washer and dryer. I cannot bend over and lift heavy, wet jeans and towels out of a front loader. So I suggested we try this unit. I researched MANY before I purchased this product and I am so glad that I did purchase it. Because of the new guidelines for front loaders and the minimal amount of water used in those machines, clothes are not getting clean. This washer washes my clothes clean and the delicate settings are perfect for things that are simply less dirty and not in need of a scrubbing. YET -- it handles my rugs and my queen size sheets and bedding EASILY (not in the same load, of course). I am VERY happy with this purchase. The dryer is the right size and height for me to not bend to remove articles. The ONLY reason I did NOT give this product a five star is because it is slow to dry a large load of towels/jeans. It simply takes two cycles to get them dry and I live in a dry climate. OTHER THAN THAT, I AM IN LOVE!!!!!

Love it. Really great to have laundry upstairs rather than in basement. Easily fits in spare bedroom. Good size, can wash and dry king size comforter.
