We bought this particular model for a couple of reasons - size and the surface material. Our kitchen is small, so we had to buy small. This fridge is the right size for our kitchen. We are tired of the textured material that most white fridges have - very hard to clean. This appliance has a smooth finish which, so far, is very easy to keep clean. Interior shelves work pretty well - most are stationary, so no ability to move them to accommodate our purchases. Despite this, we are generally pleased with our purchase and hope it is as energy efficient as promised.

I needed a top freezer fridge that was narrow, to fit into my rather small space available. It also had to be stainless. This fridge was just right. I don't have water plumbed to the location, so didn't need an ice maker or water dispenser. This fridge is quiet. I've only heard it running once, and it was just after installation while it was working hard to initially cool the unit. One gripe... why does the protective wrap that comes on the unit have to actually cover underneath the trim and fittings? A real pain to try to remove the wrap, and you're never able to get it all.

We shopped for about a month before deciding on this unit. The first thing I went for was the energy star certification. Big plus! It's quiet, roomy, pretty well laid out and the unit itself appears to be well built. The adjustable shelves both in the frig section and door give one a great deal of diversity. Freezer shelf is also well built and is a big plus. Unit is easy to clean with all the smooth and even flowing edges. My only issue is we would liked for the shelves in the freezer door to be a bit wider. But this is a minor issue. Bottom line, we really like it!

We bought this brand new basic refrigerator, freezer on top, no frills (no ice maker, no water dispenser) - model #WRT359SFYB - in Dec 2011. We thought keeping it basic would mean less things to break. All we needed was a fridge and freezer to keep our food cold. For months, things on the bottom shelf of the fridge would freeze. The more we turned the control dial down, the more things would freeze. Finally, everything stopped freezing, including everything in the freezer. After having to throw everything out, we called for service. 1 year and 4 months out from our purchase date, we were told that we had a leak - as a result of poor manufacturing - and there was no refrigerant left. This refrigerator may seem like a good deal, but it's cheaply made. Refrigerators should be made to last a lot longer than just over a year.

The top level can't put the gallon milk, had to lower one level, then make the second level alomost useless because the draw occupied the whole level. The spacing desgin need to improve.

I recently bought my first home and decided on this refrigerator based on the size (it's not as wide as many others). I love the drawers and the adjustable shelving on the doors. The only complaint I guess I would have is about the freezer. I wish the freezer shelving was adjustable and the freezer door compartments were deeper. It would also be cool if there was a light. It fingerprints up really easily but it's really quiet and looks great in my kitchen!

I was shocked when I was taking off the shrink wrap and found a small round disc on the lower right side of the door. At first I thought that the retailer I purchased it from had damaged the door and tried to cover it up with this silver stick-on disc. Then I realized that the disc was UNDER the shrink wrap, which meant that it came from the manufacturer that way. Later in the evening I sat down and read the owner's manual and found that the disc is to cover a screw HOLE in the door because the model I chose has a reversible door handle (to open on the right instead of the left if necessary). The specs do not mention this unsightly solution to a reversible handle model. I would have continued shopping for a different model had I known about this.

I chose this refrigerator based on the energy usage which was one of the best for a full size, standard refrigerator. My house is 100% off the grid, powered completely by solar panels and a battery bank so I needed a refer that would be kind to my batteries. I was surprised to see how quickly the temperature dropped when it was first delivered and plugged in. I monitor my energy usage so that I know how much load I'm putting on my batteries and to my surprise this refer uses about the same amount of power as my 46" flat screen tv. I'm a happy camper! My only concern is that it is a bit noisy sometimes when running, but then I have it on a hardwood floor and my house is very quiet.
