The TCWE475 offers classic dubbing deck features, plus Sony quality, at a very wallet-friendly price. Auto-reverse play (on both decks) and auto-reverse record (deck B) means you don't have to flip tapes over. Relay play lets you enjoy all the music on both sides of both tapes, for hours of nonstop playback. Or use multiple music search to skip right to the song you want to hear next. Make tape-to-tape copies at normal speed, or at high speed in half the time! Deck A even offers pitch control that lets you adjust the music's playback speed. CD Synchro makes for convenient dubbing from Sony Control A1/A1II-compatible CD players.

I like the way the cassette deck sounds.

I just used my cassette deck to listen to old tapes as I did my housework. The sound is great. I could hear even when I was in the basement. It's a little confusing when I want to go back and listen to a particular song again. I'm sure I'll adjust in time.

I needed a cassette deck to replace one with a shorted-out rt channel output. The Sony TCWE 475 has the advantage of speed control in one of the cassette wells to correct for off-pitch tapes. So far the deck has performed very well. The purpose of the deck is to convert cassettes to CD and other digital media. As to one of the entries in the "pro"s box - ask me how durable it is in a few years, not a few days.
