I mostly use my bread machine to make dough; pizza, sweet rolls. This machine does a great job. The dough cycle on this machine is an hour 30 minutes, whereas on my previous machine it was an hour. The dough is softer and rises more in this machine. This is probably because of the longer dough cycle.
The bread machine is VERY noisy. If I am having company, the machine is moved to the laundry room to finish the dough cycle.
I would highly recommend this machine.

I use this machine 4 times a week making 1 pound loaves of bread. I quit buying commercially made bread when I discovered I don't know what all the ingrediants are. My bread is healthy, all natural, and preservative free. It takes 7 common ingrediants to make this "oh sooo good" bread. Hats off to Cuisinart!

I bought this bread maker to replace one that stopped working after years of use. This Cuisinart 2-lb bread maker is more compact and works great. One of the things I like best is you can fill the basket outside of the machine, and insert into the machine. My old one had to be filled inside the machine because of the way the paddle fit. Putting in the ingredients outside of the machine keeps the insides cleaner. LED screen on top is easy to read. Settings are easy to figure out. All in all a good product that will get plenty of use in this household.

I make Gluten Free breads with my breadmaker. It makes the best Gluten Free bread I have ever eaten. I have tried many products in the past 4 years and this is the best bar none. The loaf rises to a beautiful golden brown and the consistency is just right. It comes out hearty but is not too heavy as with most Gluten Free breads. I highly recommend this breadmaker. Thank you for making such a quality product.

My husband was diagnosed with Celiac a year ago, and finding good bread has been the most difficult aspect of a gluten-free diet. The breadmaker we'd owned for 15+ years worked just fine for everything except gluten-free bread. We bought the Cuisinart based on the GF setting, the reveiws, the price, and the brand name. We are very happy with the purchase--it is extremely easy to use and makes perfect GF bread. The only criticism I have is that the recipe booklet only included 3 GF recipes, and none of them were for a regular loaf of sandwich bread.

We like to make different types of bread, and the recipe book that comes with the product is fabulous! The one slight downfall is the product is big, but we have a lot of kitchen appliances on our countertops so take that into consideration. It's quiet and has multiple functions. Definitely not a waste of money! We have several Cuisinart products and all perform PERFECTLY!
