Great all around
from Chicago area
I love how clean the dishes come out when I use the sanitize button!A con is that the plastic dishes don't dry well.
Dishwasher looks good and is quiet, but often plastics come out wet even after sitting overnight for 8+ hours. Cycle time is extremely long as well. In all, just a little disappointed in my first Bosch product.
Quiet as a church mouse

Couldn't believe how quiet when operating.

This is a great product. I'm glad I purchased it. It works so much better than the unreliable Maytag I ditched after 6 years of differences. The comments that you must overlap are true, but even upon overlapping, dishes come out clean. They do have water on them but that doesn't bother me. The cycle starts noisy and then quiets to where you don't even notice it. You must manually turn off the dishwasher and then turn it back on at the push of a button to know whether you have clean or dirty dishes in the dishwasher unless you want to always be guessing. I miss the third row tray on the bottom to use for spatulas but there is usually a space for them at the top. It's easy to change the height of the top tray depending on whether you are washing tall glasses or tall cookware.
Think dish load type before you buy
We purchased this dishwasher about a month ago. I will not speak about its longevity, energy efficiency since it is too early. I would say for sure it is a very nice looking and quite dishwasher. I am giving it a 3 star for one important reason. This appliance lives to its name - it is primarily a DISH washer. The loading trays appear to have been designed to load mostly dishes and small cups and bowls. Any other kitchen item is a nightmare to load. The design is very awkward. Another problem that I have noticed is that bowl tend to flip during the wash cycle if not loaded PRECISELY. I wish given its big name Bosch should have made an effort to design the loader which is more efficient with loading all types of kitchen ware. I thought of getting new loading racks but they are exorbitantly expensive ( $150 -$250 each). Another annoying factor is the size of the silverware holder. It is so big that it takes one whole side, and it gets very difficult to load stuff around it. Plastics almost never dry ( which I understand) but they flipping during the cycle and then holding tons of dirty water is annoying. Also again thank to the design of the rack, even glassware ( the pyrex type) will tend to hold water when placed vertically. So for everything to work well, the plates need to be placed vertical and all the bowls, cups, glassware, pots/pans ( if they can remotely fit) need to placed face down. Imagine how much space is left to load when things have to go face down. I think it is a good dishwasher, but give a good though to your eating /cooking habits before you go for this specific model
Service and delivery comments:
Overall very good service and delivery. Wish delivery and installation was a little cheaper ( $129) . It is a pretty high cost but have to live with it. My guess is this is where the stores make money. No complains though.
