For the real vinylphile, a fully manual turntable is the pure way to go. Sony has built the PS-LX350H to deliver the quality from days of yore, when the placement of an album was a ritual of delight. This model also has a variable pitch control with strobe for maintaining perfect speed, and a dampened base for the cast aluminum platter. Full Manual Operation puts you in total control of playing your valuable LP collection. Simply raise the tonearm, move to your desired point of the album, and gently lower the stylus into the groove. No motor drives or complex mechanisms to interfere with the interaction of the tone arm with the music. PS-LX350H uses a strobe light and a dotted platter to let you maintain perfect pitch. Much like using a timing light on a car's engine, the pitch control allows you to make adjustments to the speed of the platter to account for such factors as changing drive belt elasticity, humidity, and weight of the vinyl placed on the platter. S-Shaped Tonearm allows the cartridge to maintain a more optimal line of travel across the album, providing a better alignment of the stylus to the groove. Full-Sized Aluminum Platter provides greater stability for the LP and tonearm while improving wow & flutter performance, or in other words, maintaining improved rotational speed constancy and accuracy. Servo Speed Control helps maintain consistent motor speed for the drive capstan and belt assembly, thereby reducing wow & flutter. Adjustable Anti-Skate Control provides a counterforce to the tonearms natural tendency to pull the stylus across the album. The adjustability allows you to compensate for a variety of cartridge types and album conditions. Standard-Mount Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge is included providing accurate music reproduction. Hinged Dust Cover raises to allow access to the platter and tonearm.
