I love to cook and I have never enjoyed it more. I chose this range for my long-awaited kitchen remodel, but bought it a little earlier when my old range died, and I'm so glad that I did. The burners are wonderful from the super burner down to the simmer burner, and everything I could want in between. I'd never want anything but continuous grates now that I've had them on this stove. The broiler heats up quickly and broils evenly. The top oven heats quickly and cooks evenly. It handles a single baking sheet or casserole well, and meets most of our daily needs. I need to use oven mitts when I put things into and take things out of the top oven to avoid burning my hands (because the rack is close to the top of the oven.) The lower oven convection is a nice feature as I love to bake and make bread about once a week. The fan is unbelievably quiet. I also appreciate the proofing feature of the lower oven. The oven lights come on automatically when the door is opened, or can be turned on with the door closed for looking through the nice big oven windows. It's a silly thing, but I love the blue interior! The knobs are nickel plated, not just plastic, and seem to be sturdy. Cleaning the top would be easier if it were stainless, but it's doable. I wish the timers were a little louder. The burners worked well when we had to light them with matches during 6 days without power after hurricane Sandy....too bad the oven couldn't be lit. I have not found anything major to complain about, and I expect to enjoy this stove for years to come.

Excellent quality, but poor design

I have waited forever to get my dream oven. I am disappointed in this models design. Although the quality is excellent, I find the following lacking: The burners are in the wrong place and way to big. Typically the small burner should be in the front as, with me anyway, i constantly am grabbing a small pot for daily tasks. The Front burner is so large that it melted the handles on my pot! This was a large pot, not a small one. I will now have to buy new pots and pans and don't know if that will help. They will have to have metal handles. I just spent a fortune on appliances and I shouldn't have to buy new cookware to use this product! Getting used to the oven being on the floor is also something i should have researched more. The racks also have 2 handle type things and i find that it is very easy to burn yourself on these and they are just not necessary. The cook top is sunken and this is also hard to clean. I cook ALL THE TIME, more than the average person and it is hard to remove the heavy grates and then to get all the crumbs etc out. It would be much better flat like other models i have seen. Things I Love: Convection! LOVE IT! The small oven on the top is GREAT and I like that you can adjust the temp. My oven was off and it was easy to adjust so it is correct. 1 timer for each oven it fantastic. So far the quality has been great, i will see over time. I highly recommend doing your homework first! I should have and my stupidity has cost me dearly.

Really great product. Easy to use. Oven heats unbelievably fast. I like preset features like pizza to bake pizza. I like the fact some settings have starting temperature and than you can still adjust. The best part is the double oven. Now I know what I have been missing for a long time. I can use both ovens at the same time for various dishes. Broil burner it is so good and the meat comes so perfect, roasted to perfection. Even the non experienced cook can enjoy cooking. One of the greatest convenience is the fact the burners are removable for easy cleaning. The cute music tones are letting me know the oven has reached the right temperature as well when the timer is up. Just this is a mood changer. I bought the product after extensive research and after reading all available reviews on the internet for hours. I am extremely happy I trusted the LG brand again. I would recommend this gas range to anyone, experienced cook or not. You will fall in love with it like I did.

Features I like: thrilled to have two ovens, heats up rather quickly, & I have been pleased with the results. Cooks evenly. Still getting used to the burners. I don't think the quick boil is any faster than my 20 yr old burner. While the griddle is a great addition, it gets in the way of everyday cooking & I have no room to store it. Not bad lifting a roast from the bottom oven. Buttons are a bit tough to push, song it plays gets annoying & I keep getting condensation in the view window. I would buy it again at this point.

Having other LG products, I know the quality so this was a no brainer. I wanted the double oven to keep the kitchen from heating up. I use the small upper oven for 90% of my cooking as most meals will fit into this space. I love love the range eyes, they are different sizes and I can select the proper size for pan size or temperture needed. They make me a better cook.

This range is fantastic and has everything you could wish for. The upper oven is small and compact, but is exactly the right size for everyday cooking. It cooks evenly and beautifully. Having five burners is a treat and the fast boil burner is amazing. I don't know how I did without it.

This is a great oven. Love the double ovens. Wish the upper oven was a little bigger but we use the upper oven the most. Cooks completely even when baking two different side dishes at the same time. The power burners are great when you need the water to boil fast. The one special feature I like the most is the button for rising dough. The oven sets at a perfect temperature for your dough to rise. It's a great oven and I would recommend it for everyone.

My eight month quest to replace my 22 year old gas stove is over and I couldn't be happier that I decided on this stove. In the last 11 years I have been studying and enjoying the art of real cooking. This includes researching and testing quality kitchen tools/cookware that make this hobby easier. I knew what features on a range that were important for me to have and not do without. The dual oven is a blessing and with my trusty testing thermometer, my oven temps were only 1-2 degrees off. The power burner was a must for searing fish and meats. The simmer burner was important to have sauces stay at the right temperture. The controls, though cool as others have noted, make this stove easy to use with amazing technology. I'm a professional master gasfitter/plumber and I remodel kitchens for my company's main business. LG has designed the gas hook up as one of the easiest I have experienced. Thank you LG for caring!

I love having two ovens! It has taken a little trial and error using the convection oven but I think I have it figured out now (especially after reading the instruction booklet). I am very happy with my purchase. The burners are fabulous and heat food very quickly. We also use the griddle for grilled cheese sandwiches.
