About Me Casual Cook
Comments about Bosch 24" 800 Series Black Undercounter Dishwasher:
i've only used it for a few weeks. but so far it lives upt to its promise. it is ultra quiet & does an excellent job cleaning. the one not so great aspect is that it doesn't accommodate large pots and pans very well because the space between rows is small and cannot be adjusted.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Exceeded my expectations!

About Me Avid Cook
Have only had one other high end dishwasher and it was awful. My $800 LG had the motor replaced three times in the first year and would NOT dry the dishes. I reluctantly replaced it with this Bosch. This unit, now in use for over a month, had so greatly exceeded my expectations! My dishes have never smelled or felt so clean and they come out perfectly dry. I LOVE the fact that there is no exposed heating element in the bottom but was worried that, like the LG, it would not dry the dishes. NOT SO! There is not a single drop of water on anything when they come out, and I can put anything I want on the top OR BOTTOM rack without fear of melting! The minimal sound that the unit makes is almost scarry.....it is SOOOO quiet. You get what you pay for! Don't pass this unit up!
Excellent but poor installation instruct
from Loveladies, NJ
Good and quiet. Nice loading options.Installations instructions had wrong part sizes. Also, didn't come with simple installation parts. Really poor taste for a $1000 dishwasher
I mainly bought this dishwasher because my kitchen opens to the living and dining room. This was touted as being very quiet, which it absolutely is. I can't really hear it beyond a 5' radius unless it's drawing water or draining. Even then, those processes are more of a gentle whisper related to my plumbing as opposed to anything the dishwasher does. This has done a great job cleaning so far. My old dishwasher had a chronic problem with the jets clogging with food. No problems here, and I've been running it through the ringer trying to see what it can't clean. I haven't found it yet. When I pull dishes out, they're scorching hot, which makes me feel good about sanitization (even though I don't run with the sanitize cycle)The top rack is awkward to load, particularly with bowls. That said, I don't run this dishwasher as often as I did my old one, so it must be holding more even if the loading is awkward. It doesn't get dishes too dry, either. I don't run the heated dry cycle, and I don't really care about a few drops of water. Besides, the dishes are so hot when they emerge, they're usually just about dry in the cabinet by the time I'm done unloading. In all, I'm very pleased with my purchase, particularly how quiet it is and how well it cleans. It loses a star for the awkward loading and wet dishes, but I personally don't care about those things.
