Overall this is a great fridge. It keeps things cold, looks great and has great features. Here are a few negatives: - The water and ice dispenser still isn't tall enough for some water bottles. - The rumors about this fridge freezing things at certain locations in the fridge is true. The back of the fridge gets mighty cold. - Water and ice dispenser cannot be used when the fridge door is open. I get it not working with the freezer door open, but I don't know why they had to route the lines so the fridge door couldn't be open either. Overall, these negatives are minor in my book. This is a great product so far.

We bought the refrigerator mainly because it fit perfectly into a smaller space that our previous refrigerator used to fill. At first we had a little trouble with our milk freezing on the top shelf, but with a little adjustment of the temperature, everything is fine now. We have had no problems since then and are really enjoying the refrigerator.

We got this fridge for a great price. It looks good from the distance. When you get up close, the handles and the top of the fridge looks really cheap. It's really loud also :( The inside of the fridge look great. The shelving on the inside also seems to be really good quality. We had problems with items freezing on the top shelf in the fridge, but we were able to adjust the temps and it has been okay since then.

The fridge looks great, does what I need, and has normal amount of space. We went through a lot of trouble to get the first fridge fixed and finally replaced. The food was being frozen on the top shelf of out fridge. A tech was asked to come out more than 5 times! Then when we got the new fridge, he didn't install properly and an entire fridge of food went bad within two days THEN it took another 4 days to fix a new fridge. The process was terrible. It's sad because we only buy whirlpool for all of our major appliances. Very disappointing. The fridge works fine now, we are just careful what we put on the top shelf cause it is much colder than the rest of the fridge. Definitely a product issue.

Interior shelving, egg case cover, vegetable/meat bins are quite lightweight plastic. Not much 'heft'. Indicates, to me, lower-grade materials used in manufacture.

I do not recommend this refrigerator. I read the bad reviews and said that bad things don’t happen to me so I purchased it anyway. However the unit never got cold and after 24hrs and was actually getting warmer. We've had the factory service out three times. The compressor overload sensor and switch was replaced. That didn’t fix the problem so they came out again and said that the compressor was bad. They gave us a new refrigerator but we were without a refrigerator for 10 days while all this was going on. With the new refrigerator the freezer only reaches about 15F degrees and the fresh food section varies between 32 and 41degrees. The service rep said that this was normal. When I purchased the refrigerator I was lead to believe that there were separate compressors for the each side and that the doors were stainless steel. There is only one compress and a magnet sticks to the doors. The doors are not stainless steel. The compress seems to be running all the time. The ice maker is noisy and that device that releases the ice can be heard from the other room as well as the ice crashing into the bucket.

After using an older model refrigerator,and still making ice cubes almost daily, our purchase is like heaven, really. I did a lot of looking, checking prices, models, convenience of spaces. No more big door swinging out to keep guests from getting into kitchen from family room. I marvel at modern technology. So easy to find foods and a bottle of wine! When thirsty, so easy to get ice and water without opening door. This is the way life should be. My compliments for making my life easier!
