I got this item as a replacement for a A/C unit in a window with 14.5 inch opening. Per the handyman I hired to install it, it was easy to fit and install. There are only 2 places on the Internet that I could find that carry a vertical A/C unit that will fit the bedroom casement windows in my 1950's house. I picked this vendor based on their rating and how long they've been in business. This A/C unit is quieter and has more cooling power than the one it replaced, and is probably much more efficient.

Service and delivery comments:

Original unit that I received looked OK when I opened the box, but after unpacking it, I discovered it had been damaged. The bottome of one side was dented. When turned on, the unit made a banging noise when the fanblades hit the dented side. I called and explained the problem; the customer service person asked for my phone number. She then said, 'We have that item in stock; the people who bring the 2nd one will pick up the damaged one." Wow. Answered all my questions and concerns in one statement! The new unit came in a few days. My handyman installed it on Thursday, and I'm very happy with the product and the customer service/help, both with the order (I had questions about the size of the unit which were answered via your chat feature) and the delivery.
FYI, the first deliveryman seemed rushed and didn't help beyond setting the box inside my front door. The 2nd delivery man wheeled the unit into the back bedroom, helped me open the carton, and waited while I plugged it in to see if it worked before loading up the damaged unit. He was very helpful, especially in contrast to the first guy.
