I looked at a lot of products and read a lot of reviews and this case stood out above the rest. I'm really glad I got it -- it was easy to attach, fits really well, and has a good grip and is not slippery like the aluminum MacBook body. It also looks really cool.

I previously purchased an Incase Hardshell Case for my MacBook Pro, but unfortunately that materials weakened and one of the small tabs that held the case on broke.

This new case is designed way better. Its a rugged material that doesn't scratch as easy as the clear one. The holes make the apple icon look pretty cool as well. This material is smooth and not grippy so it slides in and out of my backpack easily. The rubber feet are held on pretty good, but only time will tell.

I'm pretty happy with my decision to get this for a new case. Don't get me wrong my old case was fine, Incase is a great company. I've felt/used peoples computers with other cases and some are broken others just look low quality. Then theres the people who dont have cases. I don't know if this case prevents denting (i've never dropped it or hit it) but some peoples computers just look beat up and neglected. When i first bought my Macbook pro i didn't get a case, and i got a decent size scratch on the bottom of my computer (watch where you set your laptop)! Its just that with the clear case they only had 5 small clear plastic clips holding the case on. This one has a slight lip AND 5 clips, the material is stronger too.

It is kinda expensive, but if i ever want to sell this later or just keep my laptop looking nice i'd want to invest in a nice case. When i bought my first prosumer camera i invested in a quality Pelican case for it as well.

I have seen other incase models that have more bulk on the sides that make you have to place the charger in the position where the slack comes towards the user. That's not a deal breaker but it annoys me. This particular one you can place the magnet charger away from you. The case was exactly what I was expecting and stays clipped on tightly.

As some reviews say, it's a bit loose in its fit for the bottom shell, but nowhere close to falling off--just a little give room.

Other than that, it's easy to put on, protects well, has great grip (the texture feels great), and it looks good. I have also never noticed it getting warm, the holes provide excellent ventilation. I've even transported it in my backpack while in sleep mode. Great case.

I love the look and function of this hard shell. It provides just enough protection from scrapes and scratches that I was looking for. The look of it I love as well.

The fit is perfect. It snaps on and stays on without issue. Rather than attempt to have openings for each individual port the entire area is left open. I like that. It seems as carefully crafted as my Macbook Pro.

As an added bonus my laptop is no longer in direct contact with my legs and therefore not as hot.
