We got this radio for the kitchen. It makes cooking easier when you add great sounding tunes. The main vision was to have pandora running through the iPad - connected to the Tivoli's AUX jack. Somehow this turned out better than I imagined. Probably because the sound is so good for any size unit. A huge bonus is the internal antenna. Using this as an actual radio (imagine that!) wasn't really a thought until I switched it to FM and was able to pull strong, steady signals from my favorite stations - without additional wires/antennas. (however you can select that as an option if nesseccary). Performance wise, we couldn't be happier. If you take a little time selecting the right color for your room, this will be a great looking accent as well. This thing is worth every penny.
