I love my LG Thrill. I don't use the 3D feature all the time and I think that is where most people get the wrong impression about using the 3D feature. The 3D feature is used only when you want to use it. With the new Gingerbread update, some 2d games can now be played in 3D (Fruit Ninja looks great in 3D!). Another big plus is that I have dropped it a few times and it has survived and still working perfectly. Also the speakers are louder than other phones I have heard. All in all a superb phone that I believe anyone will be happy with if you just give it a chance!

Pros: Oh Yeah it has a 3d future... Cons: This phone is significantly heavy and I am extremely disappointed with how unstable it is. Why build a phone with a dual core processor and only place 512 mb of ram if the phone from factory already takes up about 300 mb at all times. I dont like the fact that you have to be paying attention on how many apps are open. This phone crashes all the time, it has lots of bugs and where do I upgrade to 2.3 like its advertised? Another thing you guys failed big is on the location of the 3d button... this button would have been better if it was a photo shutter button. I keep pressing the button all the time. Also, the power usb slot should always be in the bottom, never on the side. I am unable to stand the phone to watch a movie because, one I need to be charging the battery and the cable is on the way. The battery life is the worst I ever had, I pretty much have to shut every app possible to gain more time. Within the first 30 days the battery got so hot that it burnt the screen, now the ear speaker is blown in less than 90 days... I mean this was the worst mistake I made, buy this phone when I could have stayed on the apple family. The 3d future is cool but very egoistic I cant share it with literary no one so whats the point.!? I wish for my money back LG!!!

This is the worst phone EVER!

By

from PA

Comments about LG Thrill Black AT&T Wireless Cellular Phone:

It won't let me use my 32GB external SD, it won't let me make calls, the keyboard stops working and it constantly crashes and closes my apps! My aunt bought this for me a year ago as a birthday present brand new, and I've had constant problems ever since with it! I hate this phone!

I am really happy with this phone. It was ahead of its time, once I purchased and replaced the battery for a larger one. The original was a pain, because of its numerous features it did not last very long.

      NEEDS MORE UPDATES!

      By

      from Undisclosed

Comments about LG Thrill Black AT&T Wireless Cellular Phone:

I have had this phone a year and a half and I must say it has been pretty durable. I've dropped my phone and threw it several time and screen never cracked. I have spilled water or soda on it and it still works!! I never sent this phone back for a new one. While those are the pros the cons are when I try to download certain apps it says this device is not compatible. Some apps force close and I can not update my software.

      So not worth the aggrivation!!!

Comments about LG Thrill Black AT&T Wireless Cellular Phone:

I bought my phone a year and a half ago and for the first few months it was a dream. Now its a nightmare. its slow ( even when connected to wifi) I recently reset my phone ( not to factory just a basic) and since then nothing works right!!! when I go to make calls I get a message saying something about internal processes and to try later. and you cant send text messages either when its messing up. It wont work again until you restart it BUT it wont turn back on unless its plugged in! even if its at 90% battery life. It shuts down if I am taking pictures, looking at photos or scrolling for over 4 minutes on facebook. and guess what. You need to plug it in to get it back on. great phone if youre only looking for a few months of use. anything longer and its a waste of time and money.

Good for playing around, bad for useing.

Comments about LG Thrill Black AT&T Wireless Cellular Phone:

I have had three of these phones in a year all with the same problems, if you use a Bluetooth, good luck. They will either not connect, or connect and wont link. Bought numerous Bluetooths thinking that was the problem, no luck. Phone will randomely shut itself off and you have to take the battery out to reset so it comes back on. Look for a different device unless you dont want to use it for work.

Congrats on branding your mobile products for multi-consumers such as myself. Keep up the great work. Kudos.

I thoroughly enjoyed this phone! The 3D camera an video was really cool and worked well. Phone layout and navigation was great. Only complaint about phone was I was told the screen couldn't crack or be scratched, however I dropped it at ~6 in and it cracked. I worked for almost a year with a cracked screen until the receiver went out. But overall, it was a great phone and I would highly recommend it.

When I bougt this phone for the first time, I was the envy where I worked at. It originaly came with 2.2 os. When I up graded to 2.3, it was not that good but now up graded to 4.0, WOW! Faster, better graphics and sound and now 4G! Now I could even down load apps that Ive could not before. And my favorite thing, I could connect it to my tv and watch great look movies with net flix. Keep up the good work LG and keep on bring new up grades!

Comments about LG Thrill Black AT&T Wireless Cellular Phone:

I hate to see all the negative reviews. I've had this phone for 1 year+ (October 27 would/will be 2 years). I've had some bumps in the road, yes, but nevertheless, this phone still serves me well. There was an original issue of not being able to download app updates. This was fixed by clearing the data from both google play and google play services via Manage applications (accessed by the settings.) This was after the update to 2.3.5 OS. I am now en route of updating my phone to the 4.0 OS update that came out yesterday (I believe) and I will be back to give an updated review for that. Overall, this phone is very easy to use, a little on the heavy/large side, but still, VERY durable and not too big. I'm 18, so it's sort of understood that my phone is used A LOT. I have wanted a new phone for a long time because of the new OS's coming out, but I've had no money for them. My hope is that with this 4.0 update that I will be able to keep this phone for a much longer time! Looking forward to using more LG products in the future! Thanks, LG!
