I got used to the longer cleaning cycles and am completely happy with my new dishwasher. Whirlpool has the best reliability record (I did my Consumer Reports research). I especially like how easy the filter is to access and clean.

We have only used the dishwahser a few times thus far. I find loading the silverware awkward and it doesn't dry well on the factory setting. I'm going to have to review the directions and reset it.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery was prompt and the men who delivered the machine very professional. However, I was disappointed when we unpacked the machine and found a fleck of stainless steel missing in the area of the control panel. It is only four mm in size, but I've never had a new dishwasher, so I am disappointed, but it wasn't big enough to warrant going through an entire return process.

The upper rack rusts very quickly and tines break off. This happened also with an earlier Whirlpool. Looks like quality control at Whiripool in this area is severely lacking!
