We've had this new LG refrigerator for about 2 months now, and it's already part of the family. Very quiet and it seems larger to me, as we've not been able to fill it up. We found some "hidden" shelves which we weren't aware of when we purchased, and that just makes the value of it a little higher to us. Ice maker is quiet and is capacity-perfect for our family of 4. I was a little worried about the design of the water dispenser, but I havent seen a single drip so far. I hesitated on the value rating #considered 4 stars for a bit#, but ultimately decided on 5 stars, as I ended up paying a little more than I wanted to for this. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. Shout out to HH Gregg for the great service and delivery team. Nary a mark on my brand new kitchen floor!

on mine is very noisy and the techs have been out and just say that is the way it is apparently in the showroom they are on demo mode and you do not get to hear its actual functioning sound

Moved into a new home where a counter depth fridge was the only option. However, everyone around me said don't do it! There just isn't enough space. Some have even bought regular depth, but regretted that as they stick out too far. I searched and searched and discovered this refrigerator. It is awesome! All the space you could every need inside, and an ice maker that makes enough ice that we can store some in the extra container in the freezer. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 starts is the freezer. Although the concept of the 3 drawers sounds nice, it does limit your freezer space. It would be better with two drawers so when you have a lot in your freezer, you can shut the drawers without them getting stuck on food. I often have to rearrange items in order to not get them stuck on upper drawers when closing. I feel my freezer is smaller than it would be without all three drawers. Concept sounds good, but the execution isn't. Otherwise, I highly recommend this refrigerator! Everyone around me is looking at getting one of these, as well as new people moving into the area with the same issues I had! Buy it! You'll love it!

Replaced a KitchenAide side by side, counter depth . The LG refrigerator has more cubic ft and a better layout. Even though the freezer is smaller, the layout and sliding drawers allow for more product to be stored.

The only drawback so far, are the narrow veggie drawers...can't put celery stalks, whole fennel bulbs, etc inside without first cutting them. Otherwise...love this appliance!!

Well thought out and constructed. Designed with more than adequate, highly usable spaces and nice additional features. We could not be happier with this purchase. Product support is excellent (although we have had NO problems, they send occasional little e-mail notes to maximize use, for those of us who don't memorize manuals. :-)

This refrigerator is constructed of high quality materials and is engineered for maximum useable storage space and ease of use. Fit and finish could not be better. Doors and draws open and close smoothly and precisely, with a tight seal. This is the best refrigerator we've owned in the past 45 years of owning refrigerators!

This is our only refrigerator/freezer in a relatively small condo kitchen. When we remodeled we wanted to replace our GE Monogram side by side with something a bit different in a counter depth unit. Another brand, which shall remain nameless, was our original choice, but soon we recognized a number very serious faults. The LG had none of them. No flimsy shelves, an ice maker that puts cubes in your glass, not on the floor, doors that do not open so wide as to hit the counter, etc.

Service and delivery comments:

The minute after the installers left, our designer noticed a slight indentation on the door, but Abt will replace it with no problems.

We love our new frig and especially appreciate how much food it holds for a counter depth model! We've had several other counter depth units and this is the first to easily accommodate a lot of food! The lower freezer holds much more than it looks like due to the three compartments. They're very easy to access and all the contents are visible.
