Honestly, i'm still not used to using a High-Efficiency washer. It doesn't feel like it washes as well as traditional washers. There's a lot of fuzzies & other stuff leftover on the clothes after the wash. Unfortunately though.. i believe this is an issue with High-Efficiency washers. The workaround we figured out, was set the soil level a little higher, utilize the "bulky" item load, & add the extra rinse cycle. This will force the washer to use more water which will wash the clothes better. Another key item... make sure you move the clothes around the center of the washer. Don't load anything over the center of the drum... pretty much pretend that there is an agitator inside the washer when loading the clothes. The washer is noisy, but with enough closed doors it can be drowned out. There's a lot of loud clunks that at first we were worried something was wrong. What it is, is the lid locking & unlocking. The last comment... the lid latches locked. Why this is a problem, a lot of times we wash delicate clothes by hand in the washer & than run a normal load after washing the delicates. An easy way to allow for us to open the lid would be nice.. :-) Yes i complained a lot, but honestly, for a High-Efficiency, this is a nice washer, you just have to get used to it & learn how to manipulate the washer.

To be completely honest... I hate our washer. Yes, it is pretty to look at, but it does a terrible job washing clothes and sheets. First, I have to wash ALL my clothes on the bulky cycle just to actually get them wet... and trust me, I do not over fill my washer. I have washed every different size load possible; large, medium and small, and they still would come out with PHYSICAL dirt on them. Using the bulky cycle for everything is the only way I can get everything clean, and I hate it because that cycle is harder on your clothes and obviously it wastes water. On top of the clothes issue, washing sheets in this thing is absolutely horrible. One sheet always gets caught and gets stretched across the entire top of the load, so it looks like the top of a drum when you look down on it. The same thing happens when I wash rugs or anything, and it makes me wonder how clean things actually get when it is just floating on top of the load... I am usually not one to complain, because I take responsibility for my purchases, it was my choice, but I just wanted to cry when I noticed what a bad job the washer does. It was the first washer and dryer set I have ever purchased for our first home, it does a terrible job, and now I am stuck with it - wasting water and energy with every load. I should have stuck with the a front load washer. They are way more gentle on your clothes, and you have so much more room than you do with a top load washer. I hate to say it, but I will not be buying another Maytag product in my life. I was completely disappointed and upset that I let someone at the store talk me into this washer. I have tried every different water, cycle, and speed combination and I just can't get this thing to get my clothes really clean. I am replacing my washer as soon as I have money to do so, and it will not be with another Maytag product. I just wonder how this passes product testing, which leads me to wonder how good the rest of their products truly work...

This product has great features

The Bravo X was the second Maytag for our family and has proven to be a great choice for us. The deep basket that was made in the washer was a great idea but I think the one thing that won me over to buy the Bravo X was the ability to conserve water! Please don't take my word for it, check it out and you will agree with me that this is the washer for not only for a small family but for a large family as well.

This washer is amazing. It is really efficient and cleans my clothes amazingly! It has many different settings you can use, all of which have been perfect for us. I need a great clean machine with two kids between the ages of 1 and 3. They get a lot of gunk on their clothes and this washer has been amazing to get their clothes spotless clean! It's a great value for your money too.

The best appliance in our house, STELLAR- STARlike.
Great capacity & features
This washer is high efficiency so a new type for us. My only issue is that sometimes there is some soap residue & I have to run a rinse cycle. It seems to clean appropriately as long as you select the appropriate cycle. It has a huge drum so fits a lot. I love the features available. I do worry whether its as efficient as it states because there are multiple cycles & it takes a while making me think a lot of water is actually used.

I love the easy use of my product and the energy savings. I recommended to my parents and they bought a set and loves it.
Tangles up the clothes way too much.

Too many computerized buttons. Hate the low water level capacity. The clothes come out all tangled and I have to iron just about everything.

Bravos X washer is a very good product. Clothes come out clean every time. It is not a very quiet machine, but the noise is not very noticeable with the utility room door closed. We like the bulky cycle which uses more water...very good for large batches of towels and blankets. Overall, a very good washer, seems to be very well built.
Too bad this washer is soo por in cleaning the clothes

I bought this washer in July of this year. I have to return it because it did not washed the clothes. Some of the clothes that was in the washed did not even get wet. I do not liked this high effeciency washer wit the very low agitator. I liked the traditional washer that really washed and clean the clothes. Very poor design.
great job but noisy
from washington state
Has great capacity and does a very good job. But, during the agitation cycle, it sounds like its grinding corn and is quite loud.
