This is my 2nd, as my first just stopped working after only 1&1/2 years (Same model). Just outside of warranty. Go figure. a bit expensive for only 1&1/2 years. Love the features & ease to use. Looks great & fairly easy to install by myself....with teen son helping hold. Hopefully 2nd micro works longer then last, because that one replaced one that worked for over 15 years (not an LG).

This is by far the best over the oven microwave I have ever owned. It heats evenly and is so much faster that you need a lot less time to heat up your leftovers.

Good microwave with venting feature overstated

Overall a good microwave. Sensor cooking rocks on popcorn and reasonaly quiet. Lots of wattage means less time waiting. Also earned good marks from consumer report on two sister products, so by derivation you can count on the quality. My biggest compliant is the overstated venting feature. I bought it for this reason over others. 400cfm should be powerful, but in reality it does not feel that way. Extended vent extends out just a little and does not do much for front burners. Again, overall a good microwave, but you could have paid less and get simimlar feature microwave.

We purchased to replace an older unit that had recently just stopped working. The older unit was about 9 years old and we were shocked it just stopped. This unit appears to be well made and the extendable vent feature comes in handy. The defrost mode has worked better than on any other microwave I have used.

I honestly couldn't be happier with this microwave. We've owned it now for almost a month. It is so quiet compared to our old one, you can hardly hear it running. Only thing that would make it better are having touch buttons instead of having to press them, similar to many of the stoves.

We had to have this same microwave replaced almost immediately because of problems with the door hinge. This one seemed to be absolutely perfect....for a couple of months. The door hinge is making "creaky" sounds again and kind of sticks when you open and close it. Other than that, it is great. I haven't really used the extend-a-vent because I always forget it's there since I never had one before. So many features! It looks great over my stove. LG's customer service is amazing.
