Cooks an excellent baked potato, but not as good when multiple (like 3) large potatoes are attempted.

It says it's a family sized oven. I feel there is wasted space in the oven. You can only put things in it that will fit on the 12 in. turntable. The halogen light will brown your baked goods nicely and baked faster, than the normal bake setting. There is a heating source from the bottom, but its location will only heat under the metal tray that was provided, which is 12 in. in diameter.
I made scones in it. The recipe was too large to bake all together. Half was bake on normal bake and half was done a speedcook. Since the recipe had to be divided it didn't save any time. A thermal oven would have been just fine.
If you buy pre-package food or frozen food items, I think you will like the preset menus, but a 9X13 baking dish won't fit.
