upon arriving at the abt store to review the various blue ray and dvd players that were available( we thought that two separate units-blue ray and dvd-would need to be purchased) my daughter met mr. aldo filippelli( an abt sales associate)who was kind enough to take the time to review all the blue ray and dvd players and advise us which unit/units would be best suited for our needs. aldo recommended that we purchase the samsung blue ray player that my daughter preferred (also plays dvds) otherwise my daughter would have spent unnecessary monies on two units. thank you mr.aldo filippelli your communication and customer service skills are wonderful.

I purchased this product because of the low price and my confort with the brand. With the WIFI built in I couldn't beat the price. I recommend this product. Easy to set up and use.

It does havee a beautiful picture but that is about it. I have had nothing but issues with this model and Customer Support does not have a handle on it either. It will play a reguular DVD fine with no issues but it when you play a Blu-Ray you can see it but there is no sound. I called Tech Support and ran a battery of drills on it but they could not conclude what the issue was. So I exchanged it. The new one worked for 30 days and now it will not work either. My mothers ran for 2 months and now it is not working as well. There has to be some kind of issue with this model. DO NOT BUY IT! I am going to try customer support yet again to try and come to a resolution and if we can't then I am going to get an Insignia. It is the player I have in my bedroom and i have never had one issue at all with it.

Set up was easy. It worked fine for 1 week. Picture clarity was outstanding. After a week, it continued to play Blu ray discs, but could not access Smart Hub, where all the internet apps reside. Several calls to tech support resulted in "we are escalating your problem. Someone will call you." No calls to date. After about a week of no internet apps, the player stopped loading blu ray discs. At that point, I returned it to Abt for a refund. (See service comments).

Arrived as promised, in a timely manner. When I realized I was not going to resolve my problems with the player, I contacted Abt and they took it back, no questions asked. Even paid for the return shipping! I was so satisfied with their service, I ordered another player, different manufacturer.

I bought this player to stream movies, etc. from my broadband connection. I already have a Sony BR player which is excellent. This player plays BR discs flawlessly, and for a while (I've had it a week or so) the Smart Hub worked well. This week, the Smart Hub won't load. I've been in touch with on line chat, and voice contact with the service center in the Phillipines, and my "ticket has been escalated". No resolution so far. Since it suddenly stopped working, I suspect component failure. I'll update my review when I get some kind of resolution.

Called Samsung CS to get set-up help.None given.
The set-up was mine to do and it was finally successful.Bought for media streaming and this unit is too slow getting online and has one problem after another-boxed up and returned.
My Broadband service is excellent.
No more Samsung products.

Plays my Blu-Ray DVD's with ease and clarity. Fast set up and response for almost immediate play. Read multiple reviews on line before selecting this model and they proved correct. Great product, could have paid more for other brands with the same or lesser features. Wanted to replace an older model Blu-Ray DVD player with one with built-in WI-FI rather than buy separate components,less expensive this way.
