Faster loading than most. Excellent picture quality and sound. I use it thru a Denon 2312 A/V receiver and a Samsung E550 51" plasma tv. First remote I ever had that has a open/close button. But no back-light. Loved it so much, bought another one for my daughter. And it hooks up fine to her old RCA-type plug tv.

It is all that I expected, however, streaming is much better than my Samsung Blu-ray player.

Took just a few minutes to set up. WiFi connection made it all very easy.

Disks play within seconds of closing the door. Infinitely better than previous product. (Samsung, from a few years back.)

My only peeve, and it is minor, is that the menus within Netflix are a little hard to get around. Not sure which button(s) will navigate out of a menu. But this is a small price to pay for an inexpensive but high-quality product.

This is a fantastic product. I highly recommend it. Great price also. Great for streaming movies and tv shows and also for playing Blu Ray Discs of course!

I read plenty of negative comments about performance using Netflix and fully expected I may have to return this product if true. Streaming video is a primary use of this player for me. I can only say it connects and plays perfectly and I suspect other that have experienced problems need to look at their wireless router and/or ISP. Only reason for 4 stars is lack of apps. Panasonic can greatly enhance product by expanding availability of the thousands of apps that may appeal to a user.

I bought this primarily for Netflix (as it supports 5.1 audio) and to occasionally play a DVD. I can't tell you how bad the Nexflix streaming is. This is after Panasonic did an emergincy firmware update as their previous update actually preveneted Netflix from working at all. Problems with Netflix:
- Often does not load the Instant Queue (says I have nothing in the Queue when it is showing on both my PC and iPhone.
- Often drops into lower (horrible) resolution when playing HD content. There is NO issue with my connection which is 30MB. My prior Netflix streaming device did not do this once in a year.
- Always shows the content (even HD) in the lowest possible streaming resolution for the first 15-20 seconds.

My recommendation is to BUY ANY OTHER BRAND if you are interested in streaming.
