This dishwasher replaced my 10 yr. old broken one (different manufacturer). Since I recently bought a new Whirlpool microwave that I'm happy with, I went to Whirlpool for my dishwasher replacement. This washer cleans everything thoroughly without rinsing, just scraping. My shiny black plates, bowls and cups come out gleaming with no grunge or waterspotting. It is at least as quiet as my old one, if not even more quiet. The racks in this one allow for really tall items, much more so than my old one. The cutlery basket can go on the side or the front of the bottom rack, or really anywhere you want to put it. At first I thought it was smaller than my old one, but it is actually bigger with smaller sections. I also thought I would miss the options that a front dial gave me, but I like the push-buttons and they look nicer than a dial. After washing the dishes (and drying) a light goes on in the front saying "Clean," and it stays on till the door is opened and closed again. The bottom filter is easy to take out and clean. I'm very pleased with this dishwasher.

Can't beat the value on an energy efficient washer like this one. Plenty of spray power and simple to use, an all around great everyday dishwasher.

The dishwasher is really easy to use. Not to many buttons to get confused by. Gets dishes really clean.

The dish washer does a good job at cleaning the dishes and that is all that was really important to us. It has the basic features but not much else, again that was OK with us. However, if you want one that has a lot of "extras" this is not the model for you. We have an open concept kitchen/dining/living and the dish washer is a little loud if you are trying to watch TV but other than that, we have no complaints. It is a quality at a reasonable price.

While this dishwasher looks great and does a good job cleaning our dishes, it is not deep enough in comparison to our previous dishwashers. It is so small that my baking tray will not fit into the bottom rack. I have been having to clean some of our larger items by hand, which I never had to do with our previous dishwasher. However, it was much cheaper than other dishwashers.

We bought this because we are of the opinion that all dishwashers will eventually breakdown - so why spend $500-$1000 on a dishwasher that you will replace in less than 10 years. So far, this gets our dishes clean. We use the rinse aid liquid as well. The parts inside don't appear terribly sturdy. Overall, it's a good washer.

This dishwasher performs great- no need to pre-rinse dishes, everything comes out nice and clean. The only exception is baked on residue on cookie sheets or sometimes burned on residue in a frying pan... both of which I am not sure one can reasonably expect a dishwasher to get completely clean anyway. The four-hour delay button is fantastic! Even pauses the countdown to let you add more dishes when you open the door. Just push the now-blinking button to start the countdown again when finished. My only issue is the noise level, which I would classify as loud enough to be annoying; especially if you have a living space open to the kitchen, and are trying to watch television, for example. But simply use the four-hour delay button in the evening after dinner, and the dishwasher runs at night when everyone is upstairs in bed, problem solved! Just be warned about the noise if you prefer daytime washing or have a very open floor plan around the kitchen.

i chose this whirlpool because after going through two of the more expensive and complicated european brands and seeing both breakdown, i decided to buy a domestic dishwasher with a simple and easy to use system. So far my Whirlpool has functioned flawlessly and i am hopeful it will continue ti do so. I have experienced only one minor problem and thats when i used the one hour setting it did not clean the cups as thoroughly as i would have liked. otherwise its been very solid.
