I waited until I owned my refrigerator for at least a month so I could compare it to the other reviews I used to make my purchase. I've always owned Whirlpool so I was somewhat familiar. It's got a nice, modern, clean look. Runs very quietly & efficiently. Overall capacity is okay for my use which is at a weekend lake house. I wouldn't buy it for a home I live in daily. Here's why... 1) Plastic draws are cheap and fall off their tracks; 2) There is no dairy compartment on door for small items like an open butter dish; 3) Since the capacity to handle tall items is limited on the main shelf (nice retractable shelf for those once and awhile special items), the door capacity is terrible. I had to totally eliminate one door shelf on the right in order to put our milk and juice containers there (suggestion to manufacturer- make the door shelve tilt down for loading purposes or make the walls lower, or even cut-outs); the icemaker makes a very small amount of ice. The shut off switch only allows a small capacity...not good for a dinner party of 8 people or more. Not a good use of space in the freezer considering the size of the ice tray that is in there. It should at least fill up to the top. You will run out of ice quickly; factory setting for refrigerator temperature is too warm. Dairy products went bad after a few days; Left door flap swings to an open position preventing the door from being closed unless you manually turn it back. Then it will work while the right door is closed. Expect to have to open the right door in order to close the left door (but only if the flap is not in the right position). Now, with all of this being said, compare to others makes and models in this size, our Whirlpool is superior to the others hands down! What I think might be poorly designed or cheap on my refrig is worse on the other brands we compared it to. If it holds up for a long while like most other Whirlpool products then I will get my value out of it.

Have had it a few weeks and love it. Use a good stainless steel cleaner and it keeps fingerprints off of it. Freezer is easy to use as well.

We love our new refridgerator and all it's features. The only negative is the icemaker. It runs out fairly fast for average use, low ice capacity. And it still dispenses crushed ice with cubed, when selected. And sometimes the dispenser gets jammed if two or more cubes come down attached together. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars.

We have had this refrigerator for about a week. We wanted one with a water dispenser, but did not want a side-by-side. We were also limited in choices because most refrigerators with water dispensers were too large for the space we have. This model also does not have an ice dispenser. Although the interior is pretty good sized, the shelves are too close together so you can't put tall items on them. One of the shelves does fold back part way so you can put tall items on the shelf below, but them you lose shelf space. The door bins are good except for the bottom one on the left door. It is not tall enough for items like milk or juice containers. The right side door has a large bin that will hold one of these items so I ordered another one on line and will get rid of the other one. The has a good amount of space and works best with small packages so you can use all the space. This model does have a number limitations, but I would still recommend it.
Love it, Love it, Love it.

We did not go in to purchase a refrigerator. My husband saw this one and said we had to have it. Can't believe the amount of space that it has. The ice maker on the outside is something I have always wanted. I recommend it highly
My new refrigerator

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Until Easter I thought the drawer was a waste. But after I made several dishes for dinner I love it. Everything fit in the drawer nice.

We bought this refrigerator back in October when we moved into our new home, we always wanted a French door fridge with a freezer at the bottom. The water and ice features are the best, everyone get's a kick out of it shows you how many ounces of water is dispensed. Love the crushed ice it makes, great for adult beverages! It has more than enough space for us. If your looking for a quality, solid refrigerator, this is the one to buy!

We really like the bottom freezer. We have a limited space in our kitchen and this product fit perfectly. We looked at many brands and design's and this absolutely fit our needs!
Refrigerator gets a 4 1/2 Star Rating from me

First of all, let me say I love my Whirlpool refrigerator. I love the look of it and the refrigerator drawer, but there are some drawbacks I didn't seem to notice when picking it out. The crisper drawers are practically useless. They are too shallow and very cheaply made. I purchased this particular model because it does say Made in America but why cheapen something like a crisper drawer that needs to hold lots of fruit and vegetables, some of which can be heavy items? Did I say they were shallow and cheaply made? The plastic is very thin and I am pretty certain it won't take a household long to crack or completely break one of them. I realize so much of the refrigerator is now plastic but parts that get heavy wear and tear would be a good feature to brag about. Construction is everything in this throw away world. My other complaint would be that I haven't yet found a combination to move the shelves to accommodate a 2 litre bottle in the upright position. Since the doors won't fit one and the main inside area is reserved for gallon jugs of milk, there is no room left for litre bottles. I also wish there was an easy way to turn off the ice maker. Occasionally a community might get a water boil alert. If you could turn off the ice maker and just wait until the water is clear again it would be so much easier to just let the empty bin fill up with ice cubes, throw them away and then feel confident that the water is now good. I think my favorite feature is the refrigerator drawer. I do really like it and the different ways it can be configured. I use it for cheese, bacon, butter, wrapped meats etc and misc items that don't clutter up the main refrigerator area. I also like the freezer and if I had the room I would love it to be even deeper, but for me this is all I could fit. I love the roll out basket as well. It is perfect for storing bags of vegetables and ice cream. I've only owned mine for a little over 4 months and have had no problems mechanically with the refrigerator. One little thing that bugs me is the placement of the screw in especially the upper door handles. Everytime I close the door my eye catches that screw and I think there is a bug or something stuck on the handle. It is just distracting and I want it to always look spectacular. The ice maker also splashes a lot of chips all over the place even when you hold the glass close and tilted to the opening. Just a tad annoying. This is my third Whirlpool refrigerator and I really do prefer them over other brands. My first was a side-by-side with an extra door opening feature for often used items back in 1982. That well made one lasted 18 yrs. The second one lasted a little bit less 14 yrs. One last thought. Could someone please tell me what the top shelf on the left refrigerator door is for? The odd configuration makes it impossible to hold just about anything. I realize it is because of the ice maker but it is still puzzling to me.

I bought several Whirlpool appliances at the same time. The refrigerator is lovely with excellent space. I enjoy the center drawer very much. However, I do think it runs a little noisey
