Super fast boil
By Pretty pink

My electrician had not installed an induction cooktop before. He was FLOORED by how fast water boiled. I love that it is fast, yet can hold a low temperature as well. Plus it is pretty. I rally like it.

Amazing to cook on!

Installed this new induction cooktop during a recent kitchen renovation project and I am beyond pleased with the purchase. I am astonished at how well the cooktop works - very responsive. It heats up instantly, brings water to a boil in a flash and cools down much more quickly than my previous electric cooktop range. Clean ups are extremely easy and I am in love with the mirrored finish which beautifully reflects the surrounding light and colors. I love the sleek finish and instead of looking like a black hole in the middle of the new quartz countertop, it gives the area a much more seamless look.

Just installed this cooktop and it is beautiful! It reflects the quartzite counters and backsplash! We couldn't believe how fast it boils water.

Absolutely love this unit. Heats up fast and looks just as good as it did a year ago. I read a ton of reviews and researched these units extensively. If you do your research you'll find that most induction units will buzz, but that really comes down to the quality of the pans you are using and the setting. I use Demeyere pots and pans without any issue, but they're pricey. With this unit, when you use the boost feature you will hear a buzz when the pan is heating up, but it really doesn't bother me much at all. The sound usually goes away just as soon as the pan is heated up and again is only really noticeable on the boost setting. From a looks perspective this unit is clearly the winner in this price range. You will find that with most black induction hubs you can see right through the glass with overhead lighting shining down. I didnt really like seeing the internal circuit board and magnets with the black units so I went with this one. Its not until you start spending major dough that you get a black unit you cant see through. Even with the Miele ones you could see right through them and the magnets and circuitry inside had this ugly orangey look. Lastly, my one gripe with this unit was the absolutely TERRIBLE instructions re; hardwiring the power. Building codes do not allow you to have a power connection behind an oven (i found this out the hard way), so you need to install the connection in an adjacecent cabinet. The problem was the instructions did not tell you WHERE exactly to put the connection in the adjacent cabinet, when installing this above an oven. I literally had to make a mock up power cord and simulate a 3ft chord length, to ensure that i was placing the power in the right location in the adjacent cabinet. And yes you need a dedicated circuit to power this unit properly. I noted some reviews on the internet with people having issues with power but thats because they most likely didn't do the power properly. I have both my GE Monogram oven and Induction HOB on their own dedicated circuits. Hope this review saves some headaches =)
