After having my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2 (7.0 â€" 8GB) for about two weeks, it is one of my constant companions!! I have had no problems at all. I did download the Manual in PDF format from their Site; putting the Shortcut on my PCâ€™s Desktop. The Manual was a help mate in the initial days of learning about the functionality of the Tablet. I have come to utilize five Home Screens; using one just for utilizing the syncing of calendar, memos and contacts from my PC Outlook Program; one for financial programs and charts; and one for programs collecting news. Widgets come in handy for showing graphical charts and pictures associated with various Apps. The interface makes it so easy to customize the placement of apps and widgets on the Home Screens. Sometimes the interface is sensitive when one touches a widget or app icon. One has to tap quickly to execute the app or widget; otherwise the System thinks that you want to rearrange the icon on the Home Screen. I have around 67 apps plus numerous widgets on the system; and yet, I am only utilizing 669MB of the total 4.59GB available for personal usage. And I am not even mentioning the additional 32GB I have from my SD Card. Some of the Apps that I have downloaded are the Thumbs Plus Keyboard, the PowerAmp App (which really turns the already great tiny speakers into a full blown mono/stereo system (G)), Wifi Analyzer, eWeather HD, Dolphin HD Browser, An Money Plus Finance (in importing/exporting â€œ.qifâ€� files from my desktop Quicken Program), ASTRO File Manager/Browser Pro, Deja Office Outlook Sync (which includes a desktop program to sync Outlook data to the Tablet â€" Great App, by the way!), News Republic for Tablet, KJV Bible, MyCar Locator and Tunein Radio Pro (my favorite). With Tunein Radio Pro, I have almost tossed my clock radio for it. (LOL) One can utilize its sleep timer adjusting the time from 15 up to 120 minutes. One may also utilize its one alarm setting in selecting a radio station, repeat sequence, time of the alarm, and volume. Well, back to the Tab 2. (LOL)!! By the way, I have used it at five places, and it had no problem in finding Wifi hotspots at each location.

You can use a 32 gig SD card, but samsung/android won't let you move any apps to the SD card. So with the SD card you can have lots of photos, but still only limited space for any apps or tool that would make this tablet useful. Basically it's real purpose it just to stream movies, check email/facebook, and maybe read ebooks. If that is all you need, then it's an ok tablet, if you want more functionality, find something with better memory flexibility, or a manufacturer that doesn't use up your memory with unwanted apps.

This like the other 15 samsung products is Great, that is until it died after only 3 months of very light use. Most of my other samsung products are 3 to 7 years old without a problem so i was very sad to have this break so quick and have to replace it.

At first I didnt think it was necessary to get a tablet since i already have a laptop and a pretty cool cell phone, so i wondered what more would I need. But my brother sells them and even though he had a demand for them he was keeping one back for some reason and I think he was holding it for me, finally God told me to buy it so i did and that has been one of my best decisions ever. My galaxy tab fills so much empty space in my day, I carry it every where. I love music so i am constantly listening to music, whether i am doing chores, in the bath, going to sleep (I even have a rain app when i feel miserable and cant sleep lol). The app store also has a variety of game options, that i can play on the bus, in a waiting room, or i can read books with the Kindle app, I have the Bible saved on it as well so I can use it at church and make notes as well. And who could for those amazing speakers, these speakers have some brilliant projection, who needs a radio with that kind of quality. I dont know if i could do without it now, plus i have a samsung laptop as well and Im striving for the phone next, so it would be nice to complete the trinity lol...so if anyone want a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy tab would be a great choice :)

i actually love my tablet but recently the camera has stopped working and i have done everything that i can to fix it: deleted pics, cleared data, cleared cache and it still dont work.

I bought the tablet from school and I can say it is worth the money. I have cracked the screen and it still works like a charm. Excellent memory, great speakers, great selection of apps and amazing (somewhat) battery life. I live in the tech world and a tablet from samsung is definitely woth the investiment. I've had mine for almost five months and it still works, it's been updated and the only problem I had was it hung up (bricked - soft) when it was updated. However, Samsung helped fix it by resetting it and it works like a charm still.

This is one of the best tablets I have used. Everything has worked as I expected. That has not been true with other devices. The lack of a USB and HDMI port is a small issue, but I can work around all that. Solid feel to the case. Screen solid, switches feel right and the system is responsive to me. Even with my big fingers, the virtual keyboard does a good job.
