We researched dryers through Consumer Reports. This dryer was a recommended best buy and was in our price range. It also scored "excellent" in a number of areas that CR tests. We love this dryer because it can sense how dry your clothes are and is pretty accurate as to when they are totally dry. The only time it is off a bit is when I have a lot of items in a laundry bag or a sheet or comforter gets balled up. Otherwise, it knows exactly when the clothes are dry. And our clothes are dry in much less time than before. It was quite common for a load of heavy items to take 2.5 hours to dry before and now they are dry in a little over an hour. Another feature I am big fan of is the ability to put a flat drying rack in the dryer for delicate clothing. It does take a lot longer for items on the rack to try, but I can finally dry delicate clothes without hanging (and stretching) them or exposing them to sun.

We bought this along with our LG washer. The dryer has performed as advertised. We've used it for regular washes and been quite pleased with the results. In addition, we used it for a large comforter, and it came out dry after just one cycle, thanks to the large capacity. We recommend this dryer.

We chose the front load washer and dryer because we have owned them in the past and perform better than advertised. It uses less energy and the cloths come out looking great. It is easy to use and smart color design is a plus. After doing on line research and comparisons to others, I recommend trying the LG washer and dryer.

Overall it is a very good machine with lots of features. The only problem I have encountered is with bulky things, such as comforters. You have to use the manual dry features here because you can turn it on 10 different times in a row, but it will only stay on 2-3 minutes since the sensors say its dry, even though the middle is still soaked.

I bought this with a matching front-load washer (WM2650HWA) and I love them both. Lightyears ahead of the old washer & dryer that I had previously. Very efficient, beautiful looking, and it plays tunes for you! A little expensive for me (especially buying the pair), but I had some help as this was somewhat of a housewarming gift for me. I may not have been so eager to spend as much on my own, but regardless I'm glad I did. This is a good investment. The sales guy said that LG was the #1 most reliable front-load washer available (not sure if he meant out of what they stocked or overall), and being the big LG fan that I am it was an easy choice. This thing is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone with a big enough budget - the investment is worth the money spent.

We are contented with the features to dry clothes of different materials. It is indeed an energy saver, dropped down our energy bills to at least $8 or more. Very user friendly, and I like the "quiet" sound through the drying process and the way it chimes its reminder that the cycle is over, best of all, money well spent!

A very nice, well made, high end machine. An abundance of different drying settings and temperatures, very quiet, solidly built - no squeaks or rattles, attractive, and easy to use. All in all, we can find nothing about this dryer or its companion washer to complain about.
